I saw the game but I never thought of buying it.
It was given by the plus service on PS and I decided to give it a try.
At first, it frustrated me because of its "seemingly" difficult gameplay and its map.
But once I got into its philosophy, the game soared.
It's addictive like nothing else. A strange and beautiful story (as long as you're willing to read). Graphics, although with some issues, are very good. But the best part is its gameplay. Once you acquire all the protagonist's powers, you won't want the enemies to stop coming!
One incredible part of the game is playing while listening to music!
A very enjoyable but underrated game that is worth playing.
To play something different.
Its negatives, which caused it to lose one star, are:
-The game's map.
-The strange checkpoint system and the backtracking if you die.
-The graphics, although very good in many cases, sometimes couldn't load and you would see PS2 graphics.
-Quite a few frame drops.
-Many crashes. The game crashed on me more than 15 times.
-The strange freezing every time you exited pause or the menu.
I played it on the first PS4. Maybe on the Pro, it doesn't have some of the aforementioned negatives.
The game would be a solid 5 if it didn't have all these issues though.
I believe it needed a bit more attention and polishing before its release, and then we would be talking about one of the best games of the generation!
I hope for a sequel with all the above issues fixed.
Update (25/05/2021): I played the game on my friend's PS5. The 3 out of the 5 negatives I mentioned above regarding crashes, frame drops, and freezing do not exist. The game runs fantastically and looks stunning on the PS5 version.
Το παιχνίδι το έβλεπα αλλά ποτέ δεν μπήκα στην σκέψη να το πάρω.
Το έδωσε η υπηρεσία plus στο ps και είπα να ασχοληθώ.
Στην αρχή μου έσπασε τα νευρά λόγω της "φαινομενικής" του δυσκολίας και του χάρτη του.
Αφού μπήκα όμως στην φιλοσοφία του τότε το παιχνίδι απογειώθηκε.
Εθιστικό όσο δεν πάει. Περίεργη και ωραία ιστορία (αρκεί να έχεις όρεξη για διάβασμα). Γραφικά, αν και με θεματάκια, πολύ καλά. Το καλύτερο όμως είναι το gameplay του. Αφού αποκτήσεις όλες τις δυνάμεις της πρωταγωνίστριας δεν θα θες να σταματούν οι εχθροί να έρχονται!!!!
Απίθανο ένα κομμάτι του παιχνιδιού που παίζεις ακούγοντας μουσική!
Ένα πολύ ευχάριστο αλλά υποτιμημένο πιστεύω παιχνίδι που αξίζει να το παίξει κάποιος .
Να παίξει κάτι διαφορετικό.
Τα αρνητικά του που έχασε και το ένα αστέρι είναι:
-Ο χάρτης του παιχνιδιού
-Το περίεργο σύστημα checkpoint και τα πισωγυρίσματα αν σκοτωθείς.
-Τα γραφικά αν και πολύ καλά σε πολλές περιπτώσεις δεν προλάβαιναν να φορτώσουν και έβλεπες γραφικά ps2.
- Αρκετά frame drops.
-Πολλά κρασαρίσματα. Σε εμένα το παιχνίδι κράσαρε πάνω από 15 φορές.
-Το περίεργο κόλλημα/πάγωμα κάθε φορά που έβγαινες από παύση ή το menu.
Εγώ το έπαιξα στο πρώτο ps4. Ίσως στο pro να μην παρουσιάζει κάποια από τα παραπάνω αρνητικά.
Το παιχνίδι θα ήταν καθαρό 5αρι αν δεν είχε όλα αυτά τα θεματάκια πάντως.
Πιστεύω ότι ήθελε λίγο προσοχή ακόμη και περισσότερο "γυάλισμα" πριν την έκδοσή του και θα μιλούσαμε για ένα από τα καλύτερα παιχνίδια της γενιάς!!!!
Ελπίζω σε κάποια συνέχεια με διορθωμένα όλα τα παραπάνω.
Update (25/05/2021): Έπαιξα το παιχνίδι και στο PS5 φίλου. Τα 3 από τα 5 αρνητικά που αναφέρω παραπάνω και αφορά τα κρασαρίσματα, frame drops και τα κολλήματα δεν υφίστανται. Το παιχνίδι τρέξει φανταστικά και είναι πανέμορφο στην έκδοση του PS5.
