A quick and easy read, although not particularly exciting or thought-provoking as I expected.

Socrates was definitely an interesting person, and the circumstances of his trial are intriguing in terms of how people thought and acted during that time. His arguments are solid, and he should be praised for sticking to his beliefs and appearing fearless until the end.

But... I have to say that he somewhat repeated himself at various points in his defense, and there were references to people that required additional context to form a complete picture. The text also lacked dramatic intensity or much emotion, as was honestly expected, but it made it slightly less interesting to read.

Lastly, on a lighter note, this guy Socrates, according to his own words, must have been really annoying, as he seemed mainly concerned with going to specialists in various fields and complaining to them without being asked about how unwise they are. And at the end of the day, it was no surprise that he eventually annoyed everyone in the city! Haha!
