I bought it to paint a cast iron septic tank cover and some other surfaces. For it to dry somewhat quickly, you need to put the object out in the sun. Generally though, it takes a few days to dry completely. On a metal hook, the paint came off in my hand when I applied a little pressure. I didn't use a primer, since it's supposed not to be needed. I won't buy it again.

Very good for car chassis and railings with rust. You paint over the rust after you clean it a bit first.

Effective. I bought it to paint an old rusty iron ladder, which I sanded very lightly. It adhered very well, without primer, with very good results.

It is the only one I have been using for 20 years. For guaranteed results, I first apply 2 or even better 3 coats of anti-corrosive primer and then always 2 coats of Hammerite in different colors to make it look like the second coat hasn't been applied. Pay attention to the solvent! It doesn't need any at all, and if it does, always use the genuine one and not just anything.

Wonderful product, I applied it directly on rusty iron force and here is the result!!!! The shade is Ionian Blue.

Very good company and can be used even on rusty metals. I highly recommend it.
