Pasteurization destroys at least 50% of vitamins B1, B12, and C, as well as significant amounts of B6 and folic acid. At the same time, about 10% of the amino acid lysine, which is essential for our body's functions, is also destroyed.

Evaporated milk is used in many preparations such as homemade ice cream or in coffee.
