Excellent for what it does. Some things to avoid misunderstandings.
1) Comparison with an espresso machine:
The coffee it produces should not be confused with espresso. Espresso requires 9 bar pressure. This pot develops pressure of 1 to 2 bars (about 1.5). At 3 bars, the safety valve opens. This results in a different coffee taste and minimal (or no) crema during serving (although new models with a special valve that increases pressure and temperature for more crema have been released, as they claim, without my personal experience). Therefore, if someone thinks that with such a low cost they will achieve crema similar to espresso machines, they are looking at the wrong product. However, some varieties create more crema (dark roasted).
Also, when we put the coffee in the special container, we DO NOT press it with pressure like we do with machines. It should be evenly spread and 'fluffy'. Again, as the manufacturer suggests.
The size of the coffee beans plays a role.
2) Temperature
Here, a little caution and patience are needed because if it goes slightly off, the whole extraction is ruined. It requires low temperature. I do it on a gas stove to be sure. Low heat, very low heat (patience!), to keep the pressure stable at low levels. On high heat, it will burn the water so much that at the end of the process, the coffee will be burnt. Very gentle from the beginning to have a steady flow-pressure. Very, very important.
Some suggest pouring hot water into the container because it reduces the time it takes to make the coffee. It's true. There is no difference in quality. However, even the water needs some time to heat up. So it's one or the other in terms of total time. Unless someone has a kettle.
Important: when the coffee comes out, before serving, give it a good stir while it's in the pot with a spoon, and then pour it into a cup.
3) Cleaning

Χαμηλή φωτιά, πολύ χαμηλή (υπομονή!) , για να παραμείνει η πίεση σταθερή σε χαμηλά επίπεδα . Σε ψηλή φωτιά θα κάψει τόσο πολύ το νερό που στα τελειώματα της διαδικασίας θα καεί ο καφές. Πολύ σιγανή απ' την αρχή για να 'χει μια σταθερή ροή-πίεση. Πολύ πολύ βασικό.
Κάποιοι προτείνουν να μπαίνει ζεστό νερό στο δοχείο γιατί μειώνεται ο χρόνος που θα φτιαχτεί ο καφές. Ισχύει . Ποιοτικά δεν έχει καμία διαφορά. Ωστόσο κ το νερό για να ζεσταθεί θέλει λίγη ώρα. Οπότε είναι μία ή άλλη ο συνολικός χρόνος. Εκτός αν κάποιος έχει βραστήρα.
Σημαντικό: όταν βγει ο καφές, πριν το σερβίρισμα, καλή ανάδευση όσο είναι στο pot μ' ένα κουταλάκι και μετά φλιτζάνι.

Κατά τον κατασκευαστή χρειάζεται μόνο ζεστό νερό και τίποτε άλλο. Απαγορεύονται οποιαδήποτε σαπούνια καθώς θα επηρεάσουν αρνητικά το υλικό. Μόνο στις επικαθήσεις αλάτων επιτρέπεται σόδα , λεμόνι , ξύδι σύμφωνα με τον τρόπο που υποδεικνύεται στο επίσημο site.
Μετά το πλύσιμο κατευθείαν σκούπισμα με πανί και το αφήνουμε να στεγνώσει καλά πριν τη συναρμολόγηση. Έτσι αποφεύγουμε οποιαδήποτε οξείδωση ή στάμπα από άλατα.
*Για όσους αναρωτιούνται για το αν υπάρχει θέμα υγείας λόγω αλουμινίου, εδώ οι απόψεις διίστανται. Λένε σε μελέτες ότι είναι κάτω από 1%, σε ανεκτά επίπεδα (!). Και πως η χρήση σαπουνιών την αυξάνει (κάτι λιγότερο από 4%). Ο καθένας το ψάχνει υπ' ευθύνη του και κρίνει. Δεν παίρνω θέση.

Well some instructions for use. First, rub it with the soft side of the sponge and plain water. Fill it with water up to the mark, run it through a cycle, throw away the water and also the first 2 coffees, use some cheap coffee, this is to remove the metals from the taste. Almost everything has been mentioned by previous reviewers. The issue I consider is the size issue, meaning if you choose 1 cup, 2, or 3. If you choose 1, the quantity is one Italian espresso, which is very little for my taste, so you have to repeat the process 1 or 2 times. The ideal for me is 3, where you can make one espresso or cappuccino in one go. Also, I should mention that it does not make a latte.

Excellent for what it does. Some things to avoid misunderstandings.
1) Comparison with an espresso machine:
The coffee it produces should not be confused with espresso. Espresso requires 9 bar pressure. This pot develops pressure of 1 to 2 bars (about 1.5). At 3 bars, the safety valve opens. This results in a different coffee taste and minimal (or no) crema during serving (although new models with a special valve that increases pressure and temperature for more crema have been released, as they claim, without my personal experience). Therefore, if someone thinks that with such a low cost they will achieve crema similar to espresso machines, they are looking at the wrong product. However, some varieties create more crema (dark roasted).
Also, when we put the coffee in the special container, we DO NOT press it with pressure like we do with machines. It should be evenly spread and 'fluffy'. Again, as the manufacturer suggests.
The size of the coffee beans plays a role.
2) Temperature
Here, a little caution and patience are needed because if it goes slightly off, the whole extraction is ruined. It requires low temperature. I do it on a gas stove to be sure. Low heat, very low heat (patience!), to keep the pressure stable at low levels. On high heat, it will burn the water so much that at the end of the process, the coffee will be burnt. Very gentle from the beginning to have a steady flow-pressure. Very, very important.
Some suggest pouring hot water into the container because it reduces the time it takes to make the coffee. It's true. There is no difference in quality. However, even the water needs some time to heat up. So it's one or the other in terms of total time. Unless someone has a kettle.

Χαμηλή φωτιά, πολύ χαμηλή (υπομονή!) , για να παραμείνει η πίεση σταθερή σε χαμηλά επίπεδα . Σε ψηλή φωτιά θα κάψει τόσο πολύ το νερό που στα τελειώματα της διαδικασίας θα καεί ο καφές. Πολύ σιγανή απ' την αρχή για να 'χει μια σταθερή ροή-πίεση. Πολύ πολύ βασικό.
Κάποιοι προτείνουν να μπαίνει ζεστό νερό στο δοχείο γιατί μειώνεται ο χρόνος που θα φτιαχτεί ο καφές. Ισχύει . Ποιοτικά δεν έχει καμία διαφορά. Ωστόσο κ το νερό για να ζεσταθεί θέλει λίγη ώρα. Οπότε είναι μία ή άλλη ο συνολικός χρόνος. Εκτός αν κάποιος έχει βραστήρα.
Σημαντικό: όταν βγει ο καφές, πριν το σερβίρισμα, καλή ανάδευση όσο είναι στο pot μ' ένα κουταλάκι και μετά φλιτζάνι.

Μετά το πλύσιμο κατευθείαν σκούπισμα με πανί και το αφήνουμε να στεγνώσει καλά πριν τη συναρμολόγηση. Έτσι αποφεύγουμε οποιαδήποτε οξείδωση ή στάμπα από άλατα.

Fill it with water up to the mark, run it through a cycle, throw away the water and also the first 2 coffees, use some cheap coffee, this is to remove the metals from the taste. λοιπόν κάποιες οδηγίες χρήσης. πρώτα το τρίβουμε με την μαλακή μεριά του σφουγγαριού και νερό μονό. το γεμίζουμε νερό ως το σημείο του, το τρέχουμε ένα κύκλο , πετάμε το νερό και πετάμε και τους 2 πρώτους καφέδες, βάλτε κάνα καφέ φθηνο, αυτό είναι για να φύγουν τα μέταλλα από την γεύση. τον επόμενο καφέ τον πίνετε κανονικά. ξέπλυμα μονό με νερό τίποτα άλλο, παντού να φύγουν οι κόκκοι από τσιμούχες μέταλλα κλπ . βάζουμε καφέ χωρίς να τον πιέζουμε το κάνουμε κάνα τακ τακ να πέσει στην ευθεία κ αν περισσεύει με ένα μαχαίρι η το δάχτυλο μας το ισοπεδώνουμε χωρίς πίεση. νερό θερμοκρασίας δωματίου όχι ζεστό. ξεκινάμε τη φωτιά στην υψηλή και μειώνουμε σε μεσαία προς δυνατή, και όταν αρχίζει να βγάζει καφέ το κατεβάζουμε κάνα δυο βαθμούς μέχρι να τελειώσει. Θέλει καφέ medium φίνε, συνήθως του σούπερ είναι πολύ ψιλοκομμένος, πειραματιστείτε.
Κάνει πολύ δυνατό καφέ , όχι εσπρέσο, άλλα είναι κοντά σε γεύση για το μέσο ουρανίσκο. εγώ πάντα τον κάνω Αμερικάνο γιατί έτσι μαρεσει περισσότερο. καλά καφεδάκια
ΠΟΛΥ ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟ: αν χαλασει η τσιμουχα, μπορειτε να αγορασετε αλλες απο την Bialetti που κανουν 3-4 ευρω, μην αγορασετε καινουργιο!
Επίσης το 3 cups κάνει πολύ δυνατό καφε για 1άτομο και απαιτει και μεγάλη ποσότητα καφέ. Θα πρότεινα αν είσαι ένα άτομο να πάρεις το 2 cups, και αν κάνεις καφέ συνήθως για 2 άτομα να πάρεις το 3 cups. Γιατί δεν μπορείς απλά να βάλεις λιγότερο καφέ μέσα, πρέπει πάντα να γεμίζει
I confirm the comments. The coffee pot makes great coffee! Don't think twice... Having tried a similar product from another company, I can say that the coffee I made with this one is incomparable! 5 stars from me!
Επιβεβαιώνω κι εγώ τα σχόλια. Το μπρικάκι βγάζει καφεδάρα! Μη το σκεφτείτε... Έχοντας δοκιμάσει παρόμοιο προϊόν άλλης εταιρίας, μπορώ να πω ότι ο καφές που έβγαλα με το συγκεκριμένο δεν συγκρίνεται! Από εμένα 5 αστέρια!
Almost everything has been mentioned by previous reviewers. The issue I consider is the size issue, meaning if you choose 1 cup, 2, or 3. If you choose 1, the quantity is one Italian espresso, which is very little for my taste, so you have to repeat the process 1 or 2 times. The ideal for me is 3, where you can make one espresso or cappuccino in one go. Also, I should mention that it does not make a latte.
Σχεδόν όλα έχουν αναφερθεί από τους προηγούμενους. Το ζήτημα θεωρώ είναι το θέμα μεγέθους δλδ αν επιλέξεις το 1 cups,2 ,ή 3. Αν επιλέξεις το 1 η ποσότητα του είναι 1 ιταλικό εσπρεσάκι δλδ για τα γούστα μου πολύ λίγο άρα πρέπει να ξανα επαναλάβεις τη διαδικασία 1 ή 2 φορές. Το ιδανικό για μένα είναι το 3 όπου μπορείς με 1 φορά να κάνεις ένα φρέντο εσπρέσσο ή καπουτσίνο. Επίσης να αναφέρω ότι δεν κάνει καιμάκι.
