    I bought it for use with Apple Homekit and for its price, it is truly exceptional. Tiny, almost the size of a thumb, with a battery that lasts a year, but because it uses Zigbee for communication, you need to have an Aqara Hub compatible with Homekit (e.g. HM2-G01). If you don't have it, it cannot be used as a sensor.

    In the past, I tried Bluetooth motion sensors that were directly Homekit-compatible. However, they either had delays of several seconds or didn't work at all, regardless of settings/proximity to the hub, etc.

    In my case, the response time of this specific sensor (with Apple TV 4K) is instantaneous: less than a second, within a range of up to 7 meters.

    Before purchasing it, I would recommend paying attention to what others have pointed out: as soon as motion is detected, it stays permanently in the "motion detected" state for 1-2 minutes, regardless of whether you move or not. After that time, it functions normally again (e.g. motion absence detection).

The motion reset time is 60" and the occupancy reset time is 10 minutes, so depending on the automation we want to use it for, we take these times into account. Unfortunately, the light intensity (lux) sensor is completely unreliable, so I would suggest not considering it. There are more reliable ones from the same company.
