The secret to perfect operation and combustion for all oil stoves is to use diesel fuel instead of heating oil. A test will convince you.

Five stars are not enough. The stove is dynamite, it truly is the best there is. The company Tsalikis, with whom I got in touch because I had an issue with the chimney and not with the stove, immediately assisted me with their own representative in Athens. What can I say, kudos to them for the construction, kudos to them for the service, a wonderful Greek company!!!

The stove is excellent, and for greater economy we simply turn the On-Off button half a turn only (from Off to On). This is approximately 30 minutes after lighting to maintain a stable temperature.

I bought it on August 22, just to get the last piece available in the store. For some reason, the company does not have sufficient production and they always run out, while people want to buy. The stove is very good, beautiful, and economical. The first few days that you burn it, it will smell very strong, creating the impression that it may have an oil leak. This will go away after a few hours of burning. I burned it for a week, from 2 to 3 hours on all settings. Now it doesn't smell at all. So, be patient. It's worth buying.

    Instructions for use:
Before lighting it, lift the small lever on the narrow side of the carburetor, a little lever that looks like a protruding plate. Once you let it go, it will return to its position. Only do this the first time and don't bother with it again.

    Then:
    1. Turn the small knob 4-5 times.
    2. Turn the large knob to 2 and wait to see the oil running into the combustion chamber (look with the flashlight of your phone). Once you see a little oil running, turn it off completely (set it to zero) so it doesn't continue to run.
    3. Take a little cotton and pour alcohol on it.
    4. Touch the cotton to the lip of the burner, light it, and push it inside.
    5. Once it takes the oil and starts burning, open the large switch to 1 and close the door.
    6. After the stove has been working for about 20 minutes, you can increase the setting on the switch and also open the motor to bring in warm air. This stove still works even if the power goes out.
    7. After turning off the stove, let the motor work for 15 minutes before turning it off.

    Tip:
    a. In horizontal drafts, the seam should face the ceiling, as liquid accumulations can rot the seam if it is facing downwards.
    b. If it goes out for any reason, you should wait for it to cool down before lighting it again.
    c. The glass darkens from the smoke. Before lighting it, you can clean it with a simple dry kitchen paper. No detergents or Ajax.
    d. Do not open the door when the stove is in operation.
    e. If you forget and the combustion chamber floods, first soak up the excess oil with a cloth and then light it.
    f. If you see oil on the floor, decrease the small knob by one turn.

I hope I helped you. Have a good winter!

I am very satisfied with my purchase, although due to the relatively small space, I may have should have gotten the p12 instead, I have the 14. It is beautiful, consumes little oil, lights up immediately, and the air it distributes harmoniously and quietly throughout the space. While it really warms up a lot, its exterior walls are unaffected by the heat, so it is not dangerous to touch. Imagine that I have placed an armchair next to it and I rest my coffee on it without the cup breaking. Its only drawback is that it blackens the glass immediately and you can't see the flame. I have bought it in Bordeaux color.
