Don't worry, it really is plug & play! You do nothing! You connect it, double click the button, and it connects to the external speaker or headphones! There is a slight delay in the sound when you watch the presenter on TV and listen from the speaker. Although the delay is small, it is quite annoying, but for songs, etc., with the JBL, my windows rattle from the volume and the sound quality is very good! Also, I turned off the speaker and as soon as I turned it back on, it found it immediately!

The only serious issue after four years of professional use is that the power plug has developed some tolerance, causing it to turn off.

I bought it as a gift for a friend to connect Bluetooth headphones to his SAMSUNG TV (which does not have such a connection), and everything is fine. Easy installation (connected it to the TV's 3.5mm jack for audio and powered it through a USB port on the TV) and immediate connection with the headphones. The sound is clear, and there was no lag.

Rugs are terrible, the delay it produces is around 100 ms, I really wasted my money. I wanted to connect it to an external sound card so that I could use wireless headphones, but it was a complete failure. It has lag even on the TV, the goal is scored first and then you hear it. I tried it with speakers as well and the difference was significant

I bought it to connect it to the Audio output of the projector and transmit the sound wirelessly to a JBL speaker, so that I don't have the limitation of the cable, thus being able to move the speaker closer to the area where I sit (I use the projector+tv box+jbl speaker system as a summer cinema, with projection on an external wall). The sound is transmitted without delay up to a distance of 5 meters, it does what it is supposed to do, it is just a product of "special" demand, meaning that it interests and concerns specific users who have the need for a transmitter. I am thinking of trying it in the car during winter, by connecting it to the AUX output in the glove compartment of the co-driver (it also has a USB port next to it to power the transmitter), eliminating the wired connection with the phone to play Spotify on the car's audio system.
