OMI company is one of the largest manufacturers of compressed air improvement systems in Europe, with many years of experience in the field. The machines in this unit are necessary because the atmospheric air drawn in by compressors contains water vapor. After compression, 75% of the water vapor condenses, and water droplets begin to form, which will enter the network if not removed. This moisture causes:
- Wear and corrosion of machines and tools that use compressed air
- Higher maintenance costs, more failures, and lost production hours
- Defective and low-quality products (especially in paintwork in furniture making, car bodywork, etc.)
By using coolers, separators, and filters, it is possible to partially reduce the air's moisture content, but only with the addition of dryers, which lower the temperature of the compressed air to 3°C, it is possible to minimize the moisture.
REFRIGERATED DRYERS SERIES "ED": Dryers with high performance and reliability. All types are equipped with high-performance aluminum heat exchangers and have the ability to cool compressed air to the point (3°C) at which the complete liquefaction of the water vapor contained is achieved. Moisture is removed via the integrated condensate separator. The design of the heat exchangers ensures maximum efficiency with minimal pressure drop.
A microprocessor controls the speed of the fan rotation according to the air cooling requirements. They have a wide range of parameter settings and warning signals for high or low temperature and temperature sensor failure.
