OMI is one of the largest manufacturers of air enhancement systems in Europe with many years of experience in the field. The machines in this section are essential because the atmospheric air drawn in by compressors contains water vapor. After compression, 75% of the water vapor condenses and begins to form water droplets that will end up in the network if not removed.
This moisture is the cause of:
- Wear and corrosion of machinery and tools that use compressed air
- Higher maintenance costs, more damages, and lost production hours
- Defective and low-quality products (especially in painting in woodworking, bodywork, etc.)
By using aftercoolers, separators, and filters, it is possible to partially reduce the moisture content of the air, but only with the addition of dryers, which lower the temperature of the compressed air to 3°C, is it possible to minimize moisture.
REFRIGERATED DRYERS SERIES "ED"
High-performance and reliable dryers. All types are equipped with high-efficiency aluminum heat exchangers and have the ability to cool the compressed air to the point (3°C) where full condensation of the contained water vapor is achieved. The moisture removal is done through the built-in condensate separator.
The design of the heat exchangers ensures maximum efficiency with minimal pressure drop. A microprocessor controls the rotation speed of the fan according to the air cooling demands. They have a wide range of parameter settings and warning signals for high or low temperature and sensor failure.
Stable reference conditions:
