It was an emergency solution as my child got gastroenteritis during our vacation and was bothered by my milk, so I had to pump with a breast pump in order to avoid mastitis.
I must say that I have experience with another breast pump, the "Lorelli Electric Double Breast Pump "Daily Comfort Double" Power Without BPA 180ml". It was electric and it served me well while I used it, but I didn't think to bring it with me on vacation.
I found the Microlife one at a pharmacy on the island as the cheapest manual one (40€). I can say that it served me even better than the electric one. In terms of use, it is very easy - it attaches directly to the breast and starts pumping with two options, Min and Max - and it is very easy to clean. Also, what I liked is that the packaging doesn't only have its own nipple for the bottle. Two additional adapters are provided in the packaging so that you can use either Nuk or Avent nipples. Whereas with Lorelli, you were obliged to use its own nipple. Also, all its plastic parts are much better than Lorelli's.
Overall, for the 40€ that I bought it for, it was expensive but I didn't have any other options. I see that in other stores it starts from 25€ and it is definitely worth it at that price. Don't be afraid of the brand. It is excellent.
