    The fact that Rega insists on selling this turntable with this terrible 30 euro cartridge that has awful tracking is tragic. Aside from the glass platter, it's nothing special in terms of construction. A mk2 in good condition surpasses it both in build and sound. In general, look for heavy old Japanese turntables in the used market. They play better and last longer.
