The Gembird CAS-241 KVM & Data Switch connects two computers to one console and lets you switch VGA video, audio, and PS/2 keyboard and mouse. Select a computer using the front-panel buttons or keyboard hotkeys. Hot-plug support lets you connect computers without restarting them. The switch supports automatic scanning at intervals of 4, 10, or 30 seconds and requires no software.
Keyboard and mouse emulation supports PS/2 and PC/AT. SwitchSound lets you switch between stereo audio channels, while HoldSoundEvent keeps the audio-event indicator active until the corresponding channel is selected. LED indicators show operating status, audio events, and computer startup. The switch also saves and restores the keyboard LED status.
