    This specific product is also known as shellac or gum lac and is WIDELY used as a sealant in oil connections, in welding seams of oil tanks, and generally, wherever we want to seal oil components (since it has excellent resistance, even if it comes into direct contact with oil). In general, it is a resin with resistance to petroleum products. As for the other things it claims to do and whether it has adhesive properties, I do not know. P.S. This particular brand, as shellac/gum lac, is perhaps the best.
