It does not have a transformer, so it is NOT suitable for outdoor use, and the control has openings and leaks from everywhere. The control is of very cheap quality. Considering the value for money for the 500 LEDs and the €11 that I paid for it, I think it is good. For prices of €20-30 that I see, no, I would not buy it. The 2.8m is misleading, I don't know what it means. The length with the lights is approximately 25m.
