Description

The TP-LINK switch is useful for creating or expanding a wired network. If the ethernet ports on your router are not enough for the wired connections of all your devices, a switch will help you. It is unmanaged, meaning it does not offer the ability to configure its settings, which also makes it more economical. It is mainly recommended for simple users who just want to expand their small, home network and for small businesses without special requirements. It has 4 ethernet ports with a maximum speed of 1Gbps. It features Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, which allows it to transmit power and data simultaneously through an Ethernet cable. Before choosing a switch with PoE, you need to know how much power your devices draw. This particular switch has PoE (802.3af) and PoE+ (802.3at), suitable for high power requirements of devices such as IP video phones, HD IP PTZ cameras, 802.11ac (WiFi 5) AP, small audio speakers.

Features

  • 5 × RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbps ports
  • With four PoE+ ports, transmits data and power with a single cable
  • Works with IEEE 802.3af/at compatible PDs
  • 802.1p/DSCP QoS enables smooth traffic for delay-sensitive applications
  • Supports PoE power up to 30 W for each PoE port
  • Supports PoE power up to 40 W for all PoE ports*
  • Plug and play, no configuration and installation required
