GAGGIA evolution (intermediate model) was my two previous coffee makers for 30 years. Amazing in all their features unlike GAGGIA Viva Chic.
I decided to stick with GAGGIA in a cheaper model and unfortunately I was disappointed.
Cheap materials
Leakage from the closure during and after coffee preparation
Completely poorly designed ergonomically.
Very difficult to clean.
Very poor coffee result.
The only good thing about it is its likable external appearance.
I don't like to complain but for 4 months I tried, I tried many different things having experience from the previous ones, but they did not deliver, I believe it is due to its manufacturing flaws.
A friend of mine has a cheaper, not so well-known brand and manages to achieve an incredible coffee result under similar conditions.
I hope GAGGIA will take this into consideration and maybe discontinue this model and bring back the evolution, or at least give us instructions via video on how to achieve a decent espresso coffee result with this machine after 30 years of experience!!! I can't wait!!!

Φίλος μου έχει μια φθηνότερη όχι τόσο επώνυμη μάρκα και καταφέρνει απίστευτο για παρόμοια δεδομένα αποτέλεσμα καφέ.
Ελπίζω να το λάβουν υπόψη στη GAGGIA μήπως και καταργήσουν αυτό το μοντέλο και επαναφέρουν την evolution, ή έστω να μας δώσουν οδηγίες μέσω βίντεο για να μάθουμε πως θα πετύχουμε με αυτή την μηχανή ένα αξιοπρεπές αποτέλεσμα καφέ εσπρέσσο μετά από 30 χρόνια εμπειρίας!!! Ανυπομονώ!!!
Very good café! Nice coffee that can easily compete with professional machines! I have had it for over 1 year and it hasn't had any issues (2-3 coffees per day).

It is the second machine I buy, one for work and one for home. I have had them for over two years and they work perfectly. I also had the classic one, which was much more expensive and didn't make as good coffee as this one. Additionally, it broke down and the repair cost was over 100+ euros. Cleaning and descaling are easy tasks. In conclusion, for this price, I don't believe there is a better machine for making bulk coffee.

I come from a similar brand espresso machine purchased about 10 years ago at about the same price and I can say that the one I bought now is clearly of lower quality in terms of materials, the previous one had a more "solid" construction. Not that I discourage anyone from buying it, nor do I think it should be returned as I read in another comment, but compared to the previous one, it is more "plastic-like".
It doesn't have many filters for ground coffee (the previous one had 3-4), but the crema it produced in the first espresso I made today could be compared to coffee shop machines - it satisfied me completely.
I haven't tried frothed milk yet since I rarely drink cappuccinos, I will come back to this issue.
Perhaps it should be a little cheaper, or at least have a slightly heavier construction, however, at this stage, I am satisfied.
P.S. The color in the store's photos is a little more intense than in reality. Anyway, it is beautiful.

Προερχομαι απο αντιστοιχης μαρκας εσπρεσιερα αγορασμενη πριν απο καμμια 10αρια χρονια στα ιδια περιπου λεφτα και μπορω να πω οτι αυτη που αγορασα τωρα ειναι σαφως κατωτερης ποιοτητας απο θεμα υλικων, η προηγουμενη ηταν πιο "στιβαρη" κατασκευη. Οχι οτι αποτρεπω απο καποιον να την αγορασει, ουτε θεωρω οτι πρεπει να... επιστραφει οπως διαβασα σε αλλο σχολιο, συγκριτικα ομως ειναι πιο "πλαστικουρα".

Poor construction quality. The plastic parts seem like they won't last more than a year. It doesn't make a good espresso. The coffee comes out at a higher temperature than other higher-quality espresso machines. It doesn't fit a regular coffee cup underneath, only very small cups or espresso glasses. As soon as I opened it and saw the quality of the materials, I wanted to return it before even using it. Expensive for the construction quality. Finally, I requested a refund due to poor construction quality, but my request was rejected because it had been used once. Compared to other more expensive products of the same brand, it has no comparison.
Κακη ποιοτητα κατασκευης.Τα πλαστικα μερη δειχνουν οτι δε θ αντεξουν πανω απο χρονο.Δεν κανει καθολου καλο καιμακι.Ο καφες βγαινει σε μεγαλυτερη θερμοκρασια απ οτι βγαζουν αλλες πιο ποιοτικες εσπρεσσιερες.δεν χωραει μια κανονικη κουπα καφε απο κατω,παρα μονο πολυ μικρες κουπες η ποτηρακια εσπρεσο.Με το που την ανοιξα και ειδα την ποιοτητα των υλικων ηθελα να την γυρισω πισω πριν καν την χρησιμοποιησω.Ακριβη για την ποιοτητα κατασκευης.Τελος,ζητησα να γινει επιστροφη λογω κακης ποιοτητας κατασκευης και το αιτημα μου απορριφθηκε διοτι ειχε χρησιμοποιηθει μια φορα..Συγκρινομενη με αλλα πιο ακριβα προιοντα της ιδιας μαρκας δεν εχει καμια σχεση.

Δεν εχει πολλα φιλτρα για αλεσμενο καφε (η προηγουμενη ειχε 3-4), η κρεμα ομως που εκανε στον πρωτο εσπρεσο που εφτιαξα σημερα, μπορουσε να συγκριθει με μηχανες καφετεριων - με ικανοποιησε απολυτα.
Ακομα δεν εχω δοκιμασει αφρογαλα μια και σπανια πινω καπουτσινο, θα επανελθω για αυτο το θεμα.
Ισως θα επρεπε να ειναι λιγο φθηνοτερη, ή τουλαχιστον να ηταν λιγο πιο "βαρια" κατασκευη, ωστοσο σε πρωτη φαση ειμαι ικανοποιημενος.
Υ.Γ. το χρωμα στις φωτογραφιες των μαγαζιων ειναι λιγο πιο εντονο απο την πραγματικοτητα. Παντως ειναι ομορφη.
Poor construction quality. The plastic parts seem like they won't last more than a year. It doesn't make a good espresso. The coffee comes out at a higher temperature than other higher-quality espresso machines. It doesn't fit a regular coffee cup underneath, only very small cups or espresso glasses. As soon as I opened it and saw the quality of the materials, I wanted to return it before even using it. Expensive for the construction quality. Finally, I requested a refund due to poor construction quality, but my request was rejected because it had been used once. Compared to other more expensive products of the same brand, it has no comparison.
Κακη ποιοτητα κατασκευης.Τα πλαστικα μερη δειχνουν οτι δε θ αντεξουν πανω απο χρονο.Δεν κανει καθολου καλο καιμακι.Ο καφες βγαινει σε μεγαλυτερη θερμοκρασια απ οτι βγαζουν αλλες πιο ποιοτικες εσπρεσσιερες.δεν χωραει μια κανονικη κουπα καφε απο κατω,παρα μονο πολυ μικρες κουπες η ποτηρακια εσπρεσο.Με το που την ανοιξα και ειδα την ποιοτητα των υλικων ηθελα να την γυρισω πισω πριν καν την χρησιμοποιησω.Ακριβη για την ποιοτητα κατασκευης.Τελος,ζητησα να γινει επιστροφη λογω κακης ποιοτητας κατασκευης και το αιτημα μου απορριφθηκε διοτι ειχε χρησιμοποιηθει μια φορα..Συγκρινομενη με αλλα πιο ακριβα προιοντα της ιδιας μαρκας δεν εχει καμια σχεση.
Honestly DISAPPOINTED with the GAGGIA Viva Chic machine.
GAGGIA evolution (intermediate model) was my two previous coffee makers for 30 years. Amazing in all their features unlike GAGGIA Viva Chic.
I decided to stick with GAGGIA in a cheaper model and unfortunately I was disappointed.
Cheap materials
Leakage from the closure during and after coffee preparation
Completely poorly designed ergonomically.
Very difficult to clean.
Very poor coffee result.
The only good thing about it is its likable external appearance.
I don't like to complain but for 4 months I tried, I tried many different things having experience from the previous ones, but they did not deliver, I believe it is due to its manufacturing flaws.
A friend of mine has a cheaper, not so well-known brand and manages to achieve an incredible coffee result under similar conditions.
I hope GAGGIA will take this into consideration and maybe discontinue this model and bring back the evolution, or at least give us instructions via video on how to achieve a decent espresso coffee result with this machine after 30 years of experience!!! I can't wait!!!

GAGGIA evolution ( ενδιάμεσο μοντέλο) οι δύο προηγούμενες καφετιέρες μου για 30 χρόνια. Καταπληκτικές σε όλα τους τα χαρακτηριστικά σε αντίθεση με GAGGIA viva Chic.
Είπα να παραμείνω GAGGIA σε φθηνότερο μοντέλο και δυστυχώς απογοητεύτηκα.
Φθηνά υλικά
Διαρροή από το κλείστρο κατά την διάρκεια και μετά την παρασκευή καφέ
Εντελώς κακοσχεδιασμένη εργονομικά.
Πάρα πολύ δύσκολα καθαρίζεται.
Πολύ κακό αποτέλεσμα καφέ.
Το μόνο της καλό η συμπαθητική της εξωτερική εμφάνιση.
Δεν μου αρέσουν τα παράπονα αλλά 4 μήνες προσπάθησα, δοκίμασα πολλά και διάφορα έχοντας εμπειρία από τις προηγούμενες, όμως δεν απέδωσαν, εκτιμώ ότι είναι κατασκευαστικές οι ατέλειες της.
Φίλος μου έχει μια φθηνότερη όχι τόσο επώνυμη μάρκα και καταφέρνει απίστευτο για παρόμοια δεδομένα αποτέλεσμα καφέ.
Ελπίζω να το λάβουν υπόψη στη GAGGIA μήπως και καταργήσουν αυτό το μοντέλο και επαναφέρουν την evolution, ή έστω να μας δώσουν οδηγίες μέσω βίντεο για να μάθουμε πως θα πετύχουμε με αυτή την μηχανή ένα αξιοπρεπές αποτέλεσμα καφέ εσπρέσσο μετά από 30 χρόνια εμπειρίας!!! Ανυπομονώ!!!
Very good café! Nice coffee that can easily compete with professional machines! I have had it for over 1 year and it hasn't had any issues (2-3 coffees per day).
Πολύ καλή καφετέρια! Ωραίος καφές που άνετα μπορει να συναγωνιστεί τις επαγγελματικές μηχανές! Την έχω πάνω από 1 χρόνο κ δεν έχει πάθει τίποτα (2-3 καφέδες την μερα).
It is the second machine I buy, one for work and one for home. I have had them for over two years and they work perfectly. I also had the classic one, which was much more expensive and didn't make as good coffee as this one. Additionally, it broke down and the repair cost was over 100+ euros. Cleaning and descaling are easy tasks. In conclusion, for this price, I don't believe there is a better machine for making bulk coffee.
Είναι η δεύτερη μηχανή που αγοράζω μια στην δουλειά μια σπίτι τις έχω πάνω από δυο χρόνια και δουλεύουν άψογα. είχα και την classic πολύ πιο ακριβή σε τιμή και δεν έκανε τόσο ωραίο καφέ όσο αυτή και επιπλέον μου χάλασε και το κόστος επισκευής πήγε πάνω από 100+ ευρώ.καθαρισμός και αφαλάτωση εύκολη υπόθεση.συμπέρασμα στα χρήματα αυτά δεν πιστεύω ότι υπάρχει καλύτερη για χύμα καφέ.
Well, the machine was purchased the day before yesterday and I have only made one espresso so far, so the opinion is at a very initial stage - I will tell you the first impressions and if necessary I will come back...
I come from a similar brand espresso machine purchased about 10 years ago at about the same price and I can say that the one I bought now is clearly of lower quality in terms of materials, the previous one had a more "solid" construction. Not that I discourage anyone from buying it, nor do I think it should be returned as I read in another comment, but compared to the previous one, it is more "plastic-like".
It doesn't have many filters for ground coffee (the previous one had 3-4), but the crema it produced in the first espresso I made today could be compared to coffee shop machines - it satisfied me completely.
I haven't tried frothed milk yet since I rarely drink cappuccinos, I will come back to this issue.
Perhaps it should be a little cheaper, or at least have a slightly heavier construction, however, at this stage, I am satisfied.
P.S. The color in the store's photos is a little more intense than in reality. Anyway, it is beautiful.
Λοιπον, η μηχανη αγοραστηκε προχθες και εχω φτιαξει μονο εναν εσπρεσο, οποτε η γνωμη ειναι σε πολυ αρχικο σταδιο - θα σας πω τις πρωτες εντυπωσεις και αν χρειαστει επανερχομαι...
Προερχομαι απο αντιστοιχης μαρκας εσπρεσιερα αγορασμενη πριν απο καμμια 10αρια χρονια στα ιδια περιπου λεφτα και μπορω να πω οτι αυτη που αγορασα τωρα ειναι σαφως κατωτερης ποιοτητας απο θεμα υλικων, η προηγουμενη ηταν πιο "στιβαρη" κατασκευη. Οχι οτι αποτρεπω απο καποιον να την αγορασει, ουτε θεωρω οτι πρεπει να... επιστραφει οπως διαβασα σε αλλο σχολιο, συγκριτικα ομως ειναι πιο "πλαστικουρα".
