Very economical, very durable and they provide real safety for the foot. I use them both for heavy agricultural work (cutting grass, tilling, cutting bushes, etc.) and for metalworking tasks (cutting with grinders, welding, moving heavy objects). They absolutely provide the protection required by the S3 standard, but on the other hand, do not expect comfort, flexibility, etc. These are the 6th pair of S3 specification shoes I have bought (some, if I remember correctly, cost over €65). All were about the same: stiff and heavy. The only difference with the more expensive ones was better laces and hooks for the laces. I think it's difficult to wear S3 specification shoes for the whole 8-hour shift. It helps to wear them with good thick socks. After 5 hours of INTENSIVE WORK with them, your toes will hurt a bit for 1-2 days. My opinion is to wear them only when you are doing something that poses a risk to your feet (walking on sharp metals, thorny plants, moving heavy metal parts that might fall on your feet). For lighter tasks, you can wear something more comfortable. Unfortunately, for heavy work, they are the only way, no matter how much they bother us. It's the same with helmets on motorcycles or certain gloves for heavy work. Safety is not always comfortable but is preferable to amputations and injuries.
