The Halder Simplex 3028.060 soft-face mallet combines two interchangeable inserts: one made of rubber and one of nylon. The rubber insert absorbs impact vibrations, is odourless and has low wear. The nylon insert is resistant to wear, oils and grease, and does not splinter even at temperatures below freezing.

The head housing is made of cast iron and includes a protective sleeve for the handle. The wooden handle has an ergonomic shape, absorbs vibrations and features a double varnished coating to protect against dirt. The head components are interchangeable and can be replaced with spare parts or different inserts.
