The best sharpener in the world for an architect, designer, sketch artist, professional or otherwise. It has 2 stages, but you can use just one if the tip isn’t very worn. It also has 2 other sharpeners for 2 mm and 3.15 mm lead holders, as well as 2 extra blades. I don’t remember when I bought it; it’s definitely been 2 years, and I still haven’t needed to change the blade because it works just like it did on the first day. And I’ve never broken a lead in any pencil. It has a transparent little door that closes, so the shavings don’t fall out, and I like this most because when I sharpen 2 mm/3.15 mm leads, I can keep the graphite in little tubes from effervescent Depon tablets! Graphite powder is incredibly expensive to buy, so it’s a shame to throw it away when you can have it for free. If you don’t press VERY hard when writing, it’s also suitable for people who use pencils for writing. The tip will last much longer before you need to sharpen it again.
You definitely won’t be disappointed; it’s incredible in terms of quality, results, versatility, and durability! You just need to know how to use each tool properly, and I mention this because people usually use sharpeners incorrectly. The most common mistake is not stopping often to check and sharpening much more than they should, which results in the tip breaking as soon as you use the pencil—or breaking inside the sharpener, which is even worse, because you’ll blunt the blades while trying to get the broken piece out.
