  • Dry Grinding Disc Diameter

Select the disc size. A larger diameter covers larger surfaces and wears out more slowly.

  • Power (W)

The motor's electrical power in Watts. It determines how easily the wheel can handle hard materials without "sticking" or slowing down its rotation when pressure is applied to it.

  • Grinding Type

    Dry

Grinding without the use of water or coolant. It is the most common and fastest method for general tasks, material removal, and shaping. Because it generates high temperatures, care is required so that the hardness of sensitive metals is not altered (e.g. blades).

    Liquid

Grinding using water that continuously cools the wheel and the material. It operates at much lower speeds and prevents the metal from overheating. It is the ideal method for top-quality precision sharpening of knives, scissors, and cutting tools, without damaging their edge.

Amateurish with poor quality plastics and I don't know how long the plastic gears of the sharpener will last

I received it today and tried it, it is indeed very powerful at the watts it states (because I bought another red one with the same power and it was weaker than a 450 watt one I have) it has very few vibrations only at startup, very quiet, very good stones, sturdy construction and its biggest advantage is the second stone that operates at very low speeds inside a plastic cover so it can receive water for perfect sharpening without overheating the metal.
Buy it without hesitation, it's worth every last euro and has a very reasonable price.
Its durability over time will show.
