The new illustrated school atlas Siola - Alexiou for environmental studies is a friendly aid for elementary school children in understanding the basic concepts of the natural and human environment, along with their introduction to the geography of Greece.
Initially, the basic terms of land and sea are explained, and the geophysical relief of Greece is presented along with its characteristic flora and fauna.
Next, it examines how Greeks live and organize themselves in their country: their administrative organization into geographical regions and prefectures, as well as their interventions in the natural environment with major technical projects, transportation, and agricultural production.
