- Rimo multi-purpose fabric dye

- For cotton, linen, wool, nylon, lycra, animal silk, viscose

Dye in a container

  • Dissolve the dye in 1 kg of hot water
  • In a metal container, put 10 kg of hot water
  • Pour the dissolved dye into the container
  • Place the clothes in the container and stir while boiling for 45 minutes
  • Remove the clothes and rinse them with lukewarm water and dry them in the shade
  • For cotton, linen, viscose, cotton-wool blend, add 100 g of salt with the dye
  • For wool, nylon, lycra, animal silk, add 50 g of vinegar

Machine dye (for cotton only)

  • We empty the dye into the washing machine drum and add 100 grams of salt. Then we put the clothes into the drum
  • We set the washing machine to 95°C (without pre-wash) on a full cycle
  • When the washing machine completes the cycle, add liquid detergent
  • Attention to put it in the detergent compartment and start the full wash cycle again at 70°C to remove the excess dye from the clothes
  • The washing machine is cleaned with detergent and a little bleach on a full cycle

    Except for the fact that the clothes came out burgundy instead of terracotta, everything is fine. It is also good to know before deciding to dye clothes that cotton takes color differently than synthetic fabric. On white t-shirts, my stitches remained white because their thread is of a different quality. Experiment
