Processor

Intel Core and AMD Ryzen processors offer performance for all needs. The i3 / Ryzen 3 series covers basic use. The i5 / Ryzen 5 are ideal for multitasking and office applications, while the i7 / i9 / Ryzen 7 also serve more demanding applications. The new Intel Core Ultra combines efficiency and AI capabilities. The Apple M1/M3/M4 stand out for their speed, low consumption, and excellent experience on macOS.

Frequency

2.3 GHz

Frequency

The processor speed in GHz indicates how many instructions it can process per second; the higher the value, the faster the system processes are executed. It significantly affects the speed in daily tasks, applications, and multitasking.

IPS Panel

Screens with IPS panels offer vivid colors, wide viewing angles (the image does not distort much when viewed from the side), and are energy efficient. Suitable for video & image editing.

OLED

No

OLED

OLED panels allow the display of true black colors on the screen, have greater color depth, better contrast, and are energy efficient. Suitable for video and image editing.

Refresh Rate

-

Refresh Rate

Refers to how many times the screen image is refreshed per second. Typically, for office applications and casual gaming, 60-75Hz is common. In recent years, screens with 120, 144, and even 240Hz have emerged, mainly aimed at competitive gaming.

RAM Type

DDR4

RAM Type

The RAM memory functions as an intermediate memory, holding "temporary" data that is used more frequently by the processor so that it does not need to retrieve it from the much slower hard disk.

The DDR3 RAM standard appeared in 2007 and continues to be used in older systems, while DDR4 appeared in 2014 and is now the standard.

DDR4

The most common type of memory, with timings starting from 2133Hz. They offer higher speeds, lower battery consumption, and autonomy compared to DDR3.

Graphics Card

Shared Memory

Yes

Shared Memory

The graphics card does not have its own dedicated memory, but instead uses a portion of the system's RAM. These laptops are not designed for gaming.

Weight

The weight of a laptop in everyday use significantly affects the ease of transport and user comfort, especially if it is frequently used outside the home or office. A laptop weighing less than 1.5 kg is considered lightweight and ideal for portability (e.g., students, professionals), while devices over 2 kg may be more powerful but less convenient for frequent movement.
