    Very nice coffee for my taste, as I like fruitier coffees with enough acidity.

    It has a nice body. I would just prefer it a notch lower in acidity. Other than that, since I switched to a bean machine from Nespresso, I buy this one.

  • Amazing blend. It fits perfectly in the automatic machine Melita Solo 850. With intensity at full and grind one notch above the finest. It gives me an incredible body in the Freddo.

    I can't say that I have deep knowledge of coffee. This particular blend didn't seem special to me compared to others; the aroma when I ground it was absent, and the taste is somewhat flat.

    It has quite a bit of acidity, it doesn't differ from commercial coffees, generally Brazilian coffees in my personal opinion, whether they are Arabica or Robusta, no difference. No comparison with the corresponding Guatemala from the same company

    5 stars from me as well. Strong body, flavor, and it lingers in your mouth after the "hit". Well done for the effort, it is the first coffee I try from this company. I consider its price fair. Well done for your good work.

    I come back after many months. Compared to the Ethiopia, which I consider a difficult coffee to find, this Brazil is on the contrary a very safe choice. It allows you to easily play with the grind, almost impossible to miss. What impressed me was the aftertaste, which lasts for incredibly many hours. For those who drink it black, it is so sweet and smooth that it is a must-try. My next choice will be only from this specific store, the other varieties are good relatively, but not as good.

    This review is about the packaging: 250 gr

    It has acidity, pleasant however, rich body, moderate cream, its aroma is not as intense as it predisposes you with the opening of the package and it is generally sweetish.
    Easy to prepare.
    Compared to the Hausbrandt Gourmet that I mainly use, it is milder but also more distinctive.

    I am not a barista, but with a Dedica EC685 and a Graef CM702 grinder, I struggle and succeed! Taste is subjective, I am not trained to analyze body, texture, etc., but I have this particular coffee as my go-to. With a grind setting at 8, I extract for 22-24 seconds using an unpressurized filter. The taste is not unusual or extreme like other blends from Black Bart (in a good way, of course), which is why I consider it my staple and play around with the others. Overall, Black Bart satisfies me and I consider them superior to Hausbrandt, Ipanema, Lavazza Oro, and Buondi. I have tried those and I am speaking comparatively, not absolutely.
    P.S. I only refer to hot espresso and cappuccino

  • Black Bart is superb, I have tried I think 5 of their coffees so far. Opening the Brazilian Loot, I got the aroma of dried fruits - the experience was like going to a store that had just roasted nuts. Really nice. (Similarly, the Ethiopian Treasure gave me a bakery smell experience). Passion, congratulations on your work.

    One more thing, personally, I like coffee to have an aftertaste - and the Brazilian Loot did not disappoint at all, it was just what it should be (-;
    For a strong aftertaste, I would also recommend the Seven Seas, which has a pleasant bitterness aftertaste, and so far it's my favorite.

    Both 7 Seas and Brazilian Loot are perfect for those who, like me, usually drink their coffee black, without sugar.

    Keep it up, Bart!
