The Pro-Ject Audio T1 + Ortofon OM5e turntable features a belt-drive mechanism and an Ortofon OM 5E MM cartridge. Its chassis is CNC-machined, with no plastic parts or hollow spaces, while the solid glass platter helps reduce unwanted vibrations and resonance.
The aluminium tonearm has a one-piece tube and headshell construction, low-friction bearings and a length of 218.5 mm. The turntable comes with a shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance cable designed by Pro-Ject for turntable connections, as well as a dust cover with adjustable hinges. Speed is changed manually.
