The RFID sensor (Radio Frequency Identification) uses electromagnetic radio frequency fields for contactless identification and tracking of tags attached to objects. The ID-20LA is a simple RFID reader from ID Innovations with a built-in antenna. The only limitation is the distance of the pins, which is 2mm. Power the unit, hold a 125kHz card, and receive a serial output containing the unique ID of the card.
