In the money it costs, it is value for money. And essentially if you are looking for a tricycle of this type that does not fold (which means difficulty in transportation) with inflatable tires (better shock absorption) and at a price around €120, this is what you need. You will read about difficulty in assembly, it is not true and you can download the manual from the official Byox website if you have trouble with what is included in the packaging. You will definitely need your own tools: a screwdriver, a small adjustable wrench (or if you have a set) and the Allen key that is included in the packaging. Of course, a bicycle pump to inflate the tires. Inflation should not be excessive. According to the recommended pressure written on the tires and proportional to the weight of the child, not yours... To avoid creaking, use a cheap grease spray where you screw or there is metal-to-metal or metal-to-plastic contact (e.g. wheel axles, handlebar, bearings, etc.). Be careful with the parent handle: the connection to the bicycle is plastic, so it will break under force (going up and down sidewalks, etc.). Tighten the screws of the seatpost clamp that connects the parent handle and the handlebar well and apply a little thread lock to prevent the screws from loosening (also on those for adjusting the length in the middle and at the ends). I read that the seat moves slightly: logical, it is plastic and connected to the frame with a screw (even if it cost €300, the same thing would happen). The handlebar also moves for the same reason. In general, tighten correctly during assembly but not with all your strength, use it properly for gentle rides without violent movements and not as a substitute for a stroller, and you and your child will enjoy it.

  • It is not very stable, but maybe it's our fault (since you assemble it yourself). The instructions are UNACCEPTABLE! Obviously, it's not suitable for sidewalks and stairs. It's not worth its money at the moment, but maybe in the future it will reward us when it becomes a baby stroller.
