For 18 euros per kilo, it is perhaps the best decaf I have tried. Taste, aroma, full creamy body, and aftertaste. I do not know about the method of caffeine removal, but it does not bother me particularly since I do not detect any change in the taste of the coffee. After all, we are talking about an economical coffee. People who pay attention to such things will go straight to a more expensive coffee where they know that caffeine is removed with water.

In Lelit espresso machine and Muzzer grinder, I couldn't achieve acceptable results. Excessive intensity in flavor and aroma with acceptable body, however. There is some aftertaste of dried fruits and chocolate indeed, after you manage to overcome the taste shock left by the decaffeination solvent. I don't believe that the 17-18€ it costs is any significant financial damage worth mentioning if you don't like it like me, so maybe it's worth trying it.

An extremely pleasant surprise, this blend. The 20% robusta gives a smooth, compact, and rich crema. Its flavor profile is indeed as described: chocolate and nuts. Strong aroma, balanced body, and a lingering aftertaste. For its price, it is an excellent option and I would buy it again and again..... However! There is one unclear point: how the decaffeination is done. I believe it is the least we should know about a decaf bean. And it is a shame that the company does not mention (as is proper and right) the method of decaffeination. For this reason, 4 stars.
UPDATE: After quite a bit of searching, I found (99% certain) that the decaffeination method is chemical (neither CO2 nor swiss water). Since I consume large quantities of decaf beans daily (about 80g of beans), I decided not to use it anymore.

The coffee is very good... rich aroma, but the method of caffeine extraction remains a mystery (many other producers even advertise it), as no one answers the supplier's related question.
