Όχι, συνδέεται αν θες και με usb 3 αλλά φορτίζεται από το φως των φωτεινών πηγών σπίτι σου. Μετά από 3 βδομάδες δεν έχει πέσει ποτέ η μπαταρία του ούτε έχω ασχοληθεί. Το αφήνεις απλά να κάθεται "μπρούμητα" όταν την κλείνεις να φαίνεται ο ηλιακός συλλέκτης και το ξεχνάς.
