For its price, it is good but it cannot be compared to other razors... the closed comb did not work for me at all as I had many irritations, and I gave it many chances but oh miracle the open comb is excellent... I compare the open comb to the muhle r41 and I find it extremely gentle and efficient... the r41 is more efficient but the fatip shaves much smoother, so due to the open comb, it is recommended for this price and if the closed comb does not irritate you, you're okay...

First machine in traditional shaving for me. Absolutely satisfied, I use it with ASTRA blades. The only complaint is that the black color is slowly fading from the head and handle. Other than that, it provides a close shave without irritation, and you would have to be clumsy to cut yourself. I use it as a closed comb

With the Open Comb, you have a machine for weekly shaves and with the Gentile for everyday use.
Excellent price for the quality of construction and materials. The only complaint, which has nothing to do with its performance, is the somewhat "careless" finishing (the finishing on the head is not perfect, you can see traces of the processing tool on the side plates, etc.).
