The redesigned DD Audio Redline 815d D1 15-inch car subwoofer delivers deeper bass, greater heat resistance, and balanced reproduction. Equipped with a sturdy cast basket, a powerful 75 mm magnet, and a cone made from a blend of fiberglass and paper fibers, it is an ideal choice for demanding applications.

Redesigned for Deeper Bass

The redesigned frames and suspension geometry allow for a lower resonant frequency (Fs 31Hz) and greater excursion. The triple-stack DD cast basket, 75 mm-thick magnet, and long-throw suspension ensure precise movement. It is ideal for ported enclosures with a volume of 3.0 - 5.0 CuFt.

Durable Voice Coil & High Power

It features a 4.0"-diameter aluminum voice coil (made in the USA) with a large 25 mm top plate, handling 1000–2000W RMS and 6000W peak power. The new voice coils offer greater heat resistance and reduced inductance, while the system is cooled by triple voice-coil ventilation and motor vents.

Reinforced Materials & Design

The cone is made from a blend of fiberglass and paper fibers, with a moisture-resistant coating for a lightweight, sturdy structure. The series stands out with a new red stripe where the cone meets the thermally molded multilayer suspension, a logo made from reflective metallic foil, and a matte black finish.
