Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure higher air flow than original paper filters. In F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize air flow pressure loss passing through the filter, ensuring the best conditions for fully exploiting maximum power. Therefore, the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with the BMC fiberglass air filter are evident.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers, using advanced software, produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very light, made from the best raw materials, and enhance performance. For this reason, woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to ensure protection against fuel vapors and oxidation due to air humidity. The filtering material consists of special cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil for optimal air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the red BMC filters. They are manufactured in a single piece without welded joints, avoiding the risks of breakage. This system, called "Full Molding," comes from R&D in F1 and is important for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
