Coming from the Brateck PLB 1, PLB2 decade bases on PLB3, this one here looks like a toy. I was looking for them because the wall mount is for these, but they have been discontinued and the newer PLB2N has gone up from 20 to 40+. Keeping in mind that Brateck constructions are good and they don't skimp on materials, I saw this one here with the specifications it mentions. Indeed, today's screens have nothing to do with the plasma screens of the past, but I wouldn't even dare to test the weight it claims to support. I don't understand how they calculate that it can withstand 75 kilograms. First of all, the metals are thin, nothing like the others I mentioned. The first two photos are from the PLB2. The rest are from the LP72-46T. Secondly, it has a single hook at the back, not a double one, or rather, a double metal holds only one hook from one side instead of both. Thirdly, the weak link is a tiny silver pin responsible for the tilt. The difference in construction with the old tilt mechanism is evident in the photos.
