    Use for the Sony KDL-50W805 television. The batteries were inserted and it worked right away. It is the closest thing to the factory remote in terms of quality and infrared range. I had already replaced the original remote with a similar one from abroad, but it had low build quality and significantly weaker infrared, where you had to point the remote directly at the TV receiver for it to work. So, 5 stars for the new one, now its durability over time remains to be proven.
