The solar boiler from the company Lato has a nominal capacity of 200 liters and is suitable for meeting hot water needs for up to 5 people.
The boiler is the storage tank for the hot water from the solar system. From there, through pipes, the water is transferred to the house for us to use. Its main function is to maintain the hot water at the appropriate temperature.
Regular maintenance is required, including cleaning from scale, sludge, and other particles that may have accumulated, as well as checking the magnesium anode, which is responsible for preventing electrolysis that can puncture the boiler. This maintenance should be performed at least every 2 years.
It cannot operate autonomously; it must either replace your old solar water heater boiler or separate solar collectors must be purchased to ensure full functionality.
It is triple energy and operates by utilizing either solar energy, electric current, or the hot water from the radiator produced by the central heating boiler. Solar energy is harnessed through the collectors of the solar water heater.
It also features an electric resistance, allowing it to function as a standard electric water heater on days with low sunlight. Alternatively, it includes a heat exchanger (coil) through which the hot water from the central heating boiler circulates to heat the water in the boiler.
It has an internal enamel coating, which covers the inside of the tank at every point, resulting from the application of enamel (glass) onto metal. This protects it from rust, as the water does not come into contact with the walls, thereby ensuring clean drinking water at all times.
