DCM's expanded clay is a special substrate that promotes good drainage as well as good aeration and root development. It can also be placed on the soil surface to prevent weed growth while having a decorative use. It is made from high-quality clay and is completely free of harmful salts. During its production, high temperatures are developed, resulting in all formed "hydro-granules" becoming inert and ideal for use in the cultivation of all plants.
