I give 2 stars for the app AND for the WIFI range.
1st because I installed them on the yard lights where the signal is marginal, if it is lost the schedule I set up does not work. So they receive the command from the app instead of the command being stored in the bulb. For example, I set them to turn off every night at 12, and if one loses the signal (the one with marginal signal), it doesn't turn off.
2nd, the app is terrible and difficult to use, unlike TP Link's app where you can schedule much more easily and simply. Here it is complicated for something you want to set up simply and have it work. I bought them because they have more watts than TP Link but I wouldn't buy them again because of the app and its operation.
EDIT: Even though one bulb doesn't get wifi, now it works with the schedule I set up, so it's not a big deal if it loses the signal. The first day I tested it, it didn't turn on, but now I notice that even when it doesn't have a signal again, it works with the correct schedule. I don't know if I did something wrong initially or if it just finds the signal and gets the commands, but in the morning I find both off (something that didn't happen the first two days) and they also turn on together at night.
So I am increasing the stars but not to 5 because of the app, which I still find more difficult to use compared to the TP Link app where I also have bulbs.
After every power outage, I find the bulbs turned on, which annoys me because I'm tired of turning them off, as there are frequent small outages. I would like there to be an option to choose whether we want them to be on or off after an outage. (e.g. someone for security reasons might want them to turn on after outages)
UPDATE 2025: I got the corresponding TP Link bulbs which are not as bright (that's why I didn't get them initially), and apart from having a much more stable network connection, they are much more user-friendly in the app.
Βάζω 2 αστέρια για την εφαρμογή ΚΑΙ για την εμβελεια WIFI.
1ον επειδή τις έβαλα στα φανάρια της αυλής που το σήμα είναι οριακό, αν χαθεί δεν δουλεύει το πρόγραμμα που τους έχω βάλει.
Άρα παίρνουν εντολή από την εφαρμογή αντί να αποθηκευτεί στη λάμπα η εντολή.. Πχ έχω βάλει να σβήνουν κάθε βράδυ στις 12 και αν χάσει το σήμα η μία που είναι οριακή δεν σβήνει.
2ον η εφαρμογή είναι χάλια και δυσχρηστη σε αντίθεση με της tp link που κάνεις πολύ πιο εύκολα και απλα schedule. Εδώ είναι πολύπλοκο για κάτι που θες να στήσεις απλά και να δουλεύει. Τις πήρα λόγω πιο πολλών watts από tp link αλλά δε θα τις ξανά πάρω λόγω εφαρμογής και λειτουργίας αυτής
EDIT: ενω η μια λαμπα δεν πιανει wifi, πλεον δουλευει με το schedule που εχω φτιαξει, αρα μικρο το κακο οτι χανει το σημα. Την πρωτη μερα που την δοκιμαζα δεν αναβε αλλα πλεον παρατηρω οτι ενω δεν εχει σημα ξανα, δουλευει με το σωστο ωραριο. Δεν ξερω αν εκανα κατι λαθος αρχικα ή αν απλα βρισκει σημα και παιρνει τις εντολες, ομως το πρωι τις βρισκω κλειστες και τις 2 (κατι που δε συνεβη τις 2 πρωτες μερες) αλλα και αναβουν το βραδυ μαζι.
Επομενως αυξανω τα αστερια αλλα οχι σε 5 λογω της εφαρμογης που τη θεωρω πιο δυσχρηστη σε σχεση με την αντιστοιχη της tp link οπου εχω και σε αυτην λαμπες.
ΜΕτα απο καθε διακοπη ρευματος τις βρισκω αναμενες τις λαμπες, κατι που με ενοχλει γιατι εχω βαρεθει να τις κλεινω, καθως ειναι συχνες οι μικρο διακοπες. θα ηθελα να υπαρχει επιλογη αν θελουμε μετα απο διακοπη να ειναι ανοιχτες ή κλειστες. (πχ καποιος για λογους ασφαλειας μπορει να θελει να αναβουν μετα απο διακοπες)
UPDATE 2025: πηρα τις αντισρτοιχες TP link που δεν εχουν τοση φωτεινοτητα (Γιαυτο και δεν τις ειχα παρει αρχικα), και εκτος οτι εχουν πολυ σταθερη συνδεση με το δικτυο, ειναι πολυ πιο ευχρηστες στην εφαρμογη).
