The Viltrox EF-Z2 lens adapter allows Canon EF lenses to be used on Nikon Z cameras and supports electronic communication for autofocus. Its built-in 0.71x optical reducer increases the aperture by 1 stop relative to the lens’s original aperture. On full-frame cameras, it operates only in APS-C mode.

Some functions of certain lenses may not be fully available, while the maximum focusing distance may be affected with some lenses. The electronic contacts are gold-plated pure copper. The USB port is used for firmware updates, and the 1/4"-20 socket on the bottom allows the adapter to be mounted on a tripod.
