I had a lot of difficulty spreading it on wood that wasn't smooth and I'm not sure if it's a product for beginners. The result was neutral.

  • It has a strong unpleasant smell! It doesn't spread easily nor does it clean easily! It drove me crazy! SCAM

I got it for use on wood and to protect leathers, since I only have black dye for leathers. I also use it to protect metals from rust as it lasts longer than rust preventatives like WD40.

It claims to have a satin finish, but on varnished wood that wasn't satin, it remained matte. After the surface dries within 60 minutes, it requires polishing with a cloth to achieve a satin finish. It has the texture of a very soft wax or paste and spreads relatively easily. They must have added turpentine to soften the wax. It has a moderate smell of turpentine.
I also applied it to a wooden door that wasn't closing well, and indeed it stopped sticking over time. Perhaps the wood was absorbing moisture and swelling.

A pass with a steel wool 0000 over the gum is enough. It is not just wax and oil, it seems to have a little petroleum inside. Very good and at a good price.

I bought it for some doors that had swollen and wouldn't close. After applying it to the edges, the problem was fixed perfectly.
