The SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-Tr solar charge controller is Victron's solution for systems with connected large strings of photovoltaic arrays charging 48V battery banks. It is suitable for all battery technologies (Wet, Gel, AGM, Lithium, Custom). The Smart Solar RS is ideal for large off-grid battery systems and for grid-connected applications.

The SmartSolar MPPT RS charge controllers are available in 5.76kW and 11.52kW models, with specifications that include a wide photovoltaic input voltage of 80-450 VDC and fully programmable charging parameters in three stages.
