The Back-UPS 500 Structured Wiring Off-Line 500VA 300W with 4 IEC Power Plugs by APC is a Tower UPS. It has 4 outlets of type IEC (such as those for computer power supplies) as well as an input and output for an ethernet cable, protecting devices connected to it, such as a router (provided their power is connected to a UPS or surge protector). Its operation is (VFD) Off-Line which provides power in case of power outage but not voltage fluctuations, so it is not recommended for sensitive equipment. The battery can last for 16 minutes with half load or 4 minutes with full load (when the connected devices draw half or maximum current that the UPS can provide respectively).
