The positives are that it has a truly beautiful panel which is stunning for its price. It has such deep blacks that you would think it has local dimming. It is fantastic for the average user.
That's where the positives end.
1. When playing content above 1440p, it stutters with complete playback crashes if you try Netflix or Disney+ which are locked at the best setting (4K HDR). The processing power is so poor that the image cannot be utilized without a TV Box or console.
2. The fact that you get it for Android TV with Assistant, and you cannot control it from Google Home is at least funny. Classic Xiaomi with tragic connectivity problems. Assistant works (with a bit of lag), but since Chromecast doesn't work, it is completely useless (it rarely becomes "available to cast" once every three months).
3. It freezes and disconnects from WiFi, or at least that's what it says because the playback doesn't stop. Maybe it's a buggy push notification, who knows...
4. You need external speakers, no discussion. It lacks bass.

In conclusion, in high resolution as is, with a box or for gaming, yes. For its price, you can't expect something better. I wish it was a bit more expensive and had a bit more RAM...
or if Chromecast worked...

I have had the TV for 6 months and I only use it to watch movies and series by streaming from my Plex server at home. The picture is very nice for its value, it has very good black and nice colors. The biggest downside of the TV is the Android TV, the processor of the TV is slower than a toaster, resulting in lagging applications and slow menu navigation. This is a common problem with all "cheap" TVs with Android, but with my old TV from LG with the webOS operating system, I didn't have such problems.

It was purchased on 17/2/2023 for everyday use in the living room as the previous one (9 years old LG webos 42") had stopped working. I wanted a relatively affordable Android TV and because I am a fan of Xiaomi (especially their mobile phones), I decided to go for this one despite the bad reviews...
Let me start with the picture quality, which did not satisfy me on live channels as the image was blurry (even in HD) and the same goes for the PS3. The refresh rate is satisfactory, but it has poor viewing angles. It is placed about 3 meters away from the couch.
The sound is nothing special and the settings don't make a big difference.
The build quality is not the best, with legs that make you think they will break at the first gust of wind.
Compared to the previous TV, the difference in picture and sound quality is like day and night.
Obviously, it has a much better menu and more options due to the software and manufacturing year.
I wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants crystal-clear picture and sound, and of course, I wouldn't buy the TV again without seeing it in person first

If I could, I would give it 0 stars. Terrible remote control, terrible slow, constantly freezes even with the latest update. It's not worth even 0 euros. Please, for the sake of your sanity, do not buy it. Finally, those useless dirty Chinese channels on the Mi TV, why can't we remove them?

Purchased on 03/0.4. Completely satisfied. I can't say that I have noticed the issues they mention about viewing angle and sound. The sound is satisfactory for a 50 square meter space where the TV is located. The viewing angle is also good. Now, whoever gets a TV and watches it from an angle, I recommend getting angular binoculars. At a 45-degree angle, the viewing is still very good. The hybrids didn't work at all until I connected it to Ethernet and changed the DNS on the router (installed Kodi), and as soon as I closed it and opened it again, the hybrids worked on all the stations that support them. The sound through HDMI is very good (on a soundbar). Tips: disable automatic updates from the Play Store. Manually update the apps you want. If you update Miracast and have the TV connected to Wi-Fi, it will display a message that Wi-Fi is disconnected (so I didn't update it at all and it works perfectly). I deleted Netflix, Prime Video, and all the other apps that were installed when the TV arrived. Only Kodi, YouTube, Mozilla, and VLC. Simple and functional. If you want to install games, Facebook, and Instagram, it's better to get a Playstation and a computer.

Update for those who continue to write that the hybrids don't work. If the TV is connected via Wi-Fi, the hybrids don't play. They only play when there is an Ethernet connection

Personally, I believe it is the ultimate value for money. We don't generally have high expectations, but for the price and what it offers, it is perfect. Coming from Samsung, we love it! Only time will tell the rest...

Update: Everything is fine so far, the only thing that disappointed me is that the patchwall stopped working. I believe it will be fixed in a future update.

Update: Patchwall is back again, everything is fine and it's perfect.

Update: Unfortunately, I have noticed that it freezes with streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney. It lags, freezes, and doesn't display subtitles. I have extensively researched with Netflix until we concluded that it was the TV's fault.

I have it for 3 months. After it was delivered to me with a problem at the beginning, which was fixed, submitting it back and forth, and then after one (1) update that was fortunately done quickly, I have the following to submit:
It is a mediocre to bad computer with android operating system, but IT IS NOT A TELEVISION.
I am afraid to change the channel, (many - many seconds) and it requires 1 to 5 restarts per day for me to finally be able to change the channel.
If you want it for miracast, chromecast, youtube, netflix, etc. then Ok. But for God's sake, do not give it to any of your parents to watch television. They will curse you...
- The viewing angle is bad, the above mentioned applies.
- Channel information is non-existent - only the title...
- The only hope is some update.

The problem with the channels has been fixed with an update.
The television is now decent for channels, bbtv, and network streaming. I recommend using Ethernet to do your work

I bought it in July. It is the ultimate value for money television. It has a very good picture, user-friendly menu, and is very fast as a smart TV. The sound is lacking, but with the soundbar, everything is fine.
The issues I am facing are the following...
Pressing the info button does not display program information (known problem).
With daylight saving time, all programs were shown one hour behind, pressing the TV guide, something that was fixed with winter time.
I have tried all settings, but I have not been able to play hybrid channels.
If I manage to achieve something, I will come back.

After a week of use:
The picture is very good when you are in front of or approximately in front of the TV.
On the side, it loses quite a bit to a lot of its quality.
One thing that made a very bad impression on me is that until today, at least 4 times, it has frozen completely. It does not respond to the commands of the remote control or even the on-off button on the device itself.
I had to unplug the TV from the power outlet (specifically, I disconnected the cable from the back of the TV) to restart it and make it work.
It also started displaying information on the channels.
The hybrid channels were lost, but it was not due to the TV but to the setting I had changed.
I will connect it with an Ethernet cable for the internet instead of using WiFi, maybe that's what's causing it to freeze.
I think it offers much more and especially nice picture quality compared to its price (478€).
Update 7/12/21:
Since I started using an Ethernet cable, it has not frozen again.
Something similar had happened with a Xiaomi smart box that I have.
Overall, if I exclude the fact that the wonderful picture quality is lost when viewing from the side, it is an absolute value for money purchase.
During its initial operation, it does not turn on from the remote control, but from a button on the device.
Excellent Xiaomi remote control, it changes channels even if you are in another room.
When Xiaomi releases an electric car, I will get it (if I can, of course).

I bought it from Greece for 478,+60€ with a 5-year warranty. Overall, I am satisfied. The hybrids work fine. Considering its price, I consider it a very fair television. Just like most Xiaomi products. I am looking for the best possible settings to optimize the image performance. It surprised me when some people mentioned that the sound is not good. The sound is actually fine. The picture quality is also acceptable. It is a complete proposition considering its price. I don't know if there is a better option in terms of price-performance ratio in this category. It has everything and it's worth it. Having both the Xiaomi projector and the television, I can confidently say that the combination of the two leaves me completely satisfied. I have a home cinema and a terrace with very good quality and relatively low cost (total of 850-900€ for the television and projector). If someone had told me 3-4 years ago that with this amount of money I would have this combination, I would have simply laughed

Σε έπιπλο μήκους ακριβώς ένα μέτρο η τηλεόραση κάθετε οριακά. Τα ποδαράκια δηλαδή είναι στο όριο του επίπλου. Ούτε χιλιοστό έξω αλλά ούτε και χιλιοστό κενό

Στην δικιά μου δοκίμασα τα εξής και τώρα 8 μέρες ακόμα έχω υβριδική. Ξεκίνησα και διέγραψα το δίκτυο wifi ώστε να μην έχω ίντερνετ. Μετά πήγα στις εφαρμογές και έκανα καθαρισμό και βελτιστοποίηση με την εφαρμογή της τηλεόρασης που την ονομάζει ΔΙΑΧΕΙΡΙΣΤΗΣ ΤΗΛΕΟΡΑΣΗΣ. Στην συνέχεια έκανα επανεκκίνηση ,έβαλα το ΣΚΑΪ και ενεργοποίηση το wifi. Αμέσως εμφανίστηκαν τα υβριδικά. Δεν τα βρίσκει όταν συνδέεται σε 5ghz... μόνο 2.4ghz.

The positives are that it has a truly beautiful panel which is stunning for its price. It has such deep blacks that you would think it has local dimming. It is fantastic for the average user.
That's where the positives end.
1. When playing content above 1440p, it stutters with complete playback crashes if you try Netflix or Disney+ which are locked at the best setting (4K HDR). The processing power is so poor that the image cannot be utilized without a TV Box or console.
2. The fact that you get it for Android TV with Assistant, and you cannot control it from Google Home is at least funny. Classic Xiaomi with tragic connectivity problems. Assistant works (with a bit of lag), but since Chromecast doesn't work, it is completely useless (it rarely becomes "available to cast" once every three months).
3. It freezes and disconnects from WiFi, or at least that's what it says because the playback doesn't stop. Maybe it's a buggy push notification, who knows...
4. You need external speakers, no discussion. It lacks bass.

In conclusion, in high resolution as is, with a box or for gaming, yes. For its price, you can't expect something better. I wish it was a bit more expensive and had a bit more RAM...
or if Chromecast worked...

I have had the TV for 6 months and I only use it to watch movies and series by streaming from my Plex server at home. The picture is very nice for its value, it has very good black and nice colors. The biggest downside of the TV is the Android TV, the processor of the TV is slower than a toaster, resulting in lagging applications and slow menu navigation. This is a common problem with all "cheap" TVs with Android, but with my old TV from LG with the webOS operating system, I didn't have such problems.

It was purchased on 17/2/2023 for everyday use in the living room as the previous one (9 years old LG webos 42") had stopped working. I wanted a relatively affordable Android TV and because I am a fan of Xiaomi (especially their mobile phones), I decided to go for this one despite the bad reviews...
Let me start with the picture quality, which did not satisfy me on live channels as the image was blurry (even in HD) and the same goes for the PS3. The refresh rate is satisfactory, but it has poor viewing angles. It is placed about 3 meters away from the couch.
The sound is nothing special and the settings don't make a big difference.
The build quality is not the best, with legs that make you think they will break at the first gust of wind.
Compared to the previous TV, the difference in picture and sound quality is like day and night.
Obviously, it has a much better menu and more options due to the software and manufacturing year.
I wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants crystal-clear picture and sound, and of course, I wouldn't buy the TV again without seeing it in person first

If I could, I would give it 0 stars. Terrible remote control, terrible slow, constantly freezes even with the latest update. It's not worth even 0 euros. Please, for the sake of your sanity, do not buy it. Finally, those useless dirty Chinese channels on the Mi TV, why can't we remove them?

Purchased on 03/0.4. Completely satisfied. I can't say that I have noticed the issues they mention about viewing angle and sound. The sound is satisfactory for a 50 square meter space where the TV is located. The viewing angle is also good. Now, whoever gets a TV and watches it from an angle, I recommend getting angular binoculars. At a 45-degree angle, the viewing is still very good. The hybrids didn't work at all until I connected it to Ethernet and changed the DNS on the router (installed Kodi), and as soon as I closed it and opened it again, the hybrids worked on all the stations that support them. The sound through HDMI is very good (on a soundbar). Tips: disable automatic updates from the Play Store. Manually update the apps you want. If you update Miracast and have the TV connected to Wi-Fi, it will display a message that Wi-Fi is disconnected (so I didn't update it at all and it works perfectly). I deleted Netflix, Prime Video, and all the other apps that were installed when the TV arrived. Only Kodi, YouTube, Mozilla, and VLC. Simple and functional. If you want to install games, Facebook, and Instagram, it's better to get a Playstation and a computer.

Update for those who continue to write that the hybrids don't work. If the TV is connected via Wi-Fi, the hybrids don't play. They only play when there is an Ethernet connection

Personally, I believe it is the ultimate value for money. We don't generally have high expectations, but for the price and what it offers, it is perfect. Coming from Samsung, we love it! Only time will tell the rest...

Update: Everything is fine so far, the only thing that disappointed me is that the patchwall stopped working. I believe it will be fixed in a future update.

Update: Patchwall is back again, everything is fine and it's perfect.

Update: Unfortunately, I have noticed that it freezes with streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney. It lags, freezes, and doesn't display subtitles. I have extensively researched with Netflix until we concluded that it was the TV's fault.

I have it for 3 months. After it was delivered to me with a problem at the beginning, which was fixed, submitting it back and forth, and then after one (1) update that was fortunately done quickly, I have the following to submit:
It is a mediocre to bad computer with android operating system, but IT IS NOT A TELEVISION.
I am afraid to change the channel, (many - many seconds) and it requires 1 to 5 restarts per day for me to finally be able to change the channel.
If you want it for miracast, chromecast, youtube, netflix, etc. then Ok. But for God's sake, do not give it to any of your parents to watch television. They will curse you...
- The viewing angle is bad, the above mentioned applies.
- Channel information is non-existent - only the title...
- The only hope is some update.

The problem with the channels has been fixed with an update.
The television is now decent for channels, bbtv, and network streaming. I recommend using Ethernet to do your work

I bought it in July. It is the ultimate value for money television. It has a very good picture, user-friendly menu, and is very fast as a smart TV. The sound is lacking, but with the soundbar, everything is fine.
The issues I am facing are the following...
Pressing the info button does not display program information (known problem).
With daylight saving time, all programs were shown one hour behind, pressing the TV guide, something that was fixed with winter time.
I have tried all settings, but I have not been able to play hybrid channels.
If I manage to achieve something, I will come back.

After a week of use:
The picture is very good when you are in front of or approximately in front of the TV.
On the side, it loses quite a bit to a lot of its quality.
One thing that made a very bad impression on me is that until today, at least 4 times, it has frozen completely. It does not respond to the commands of the remote control or even the on-off button on the device itself.
I had to unplug the TV from the power outlet (specifically, I disconnected the cable from the back of the TV) to restart it and make it work.
It also started displaying information on the channels.
The hybrid channels were lost, but it was not due to the TV but to the setting I had changed.
I will connect it with an Ethernet cable for the internet instead of using WiFi, maybe that's what's causing it to freeze.
I think it offers much more and especially nice picture quality compared to its price (478€).
Update 7/12/21:
Since I started using an Ethernet cable, it has not frozen again.
Something similar had happened with a Xiaomi smart box that I have.
Overall, if I exclude the fact that the wonderful picture quality is lost when viewing from the side, it is an absolute value for money purchase.
During its initial operation, it does not turn on from the remote control, but from a button on the device.
Excellent Xiaomi remote control, it changes channels even if you are in another room.
When Xiaomi releases an electric car, I will get it (if I can, of course).

I bought it from Greece for 478,+60€ with a 5-year warranty. Overall, I am satisfied. The hybrids work fine. Considering its price, I consider it a very fair television. Just like most Xiaomi products. I am looking for the best possible settings to optimize the image performance. It surprised me when some people mentioned that the sound is not good. The sound is actually fine. The picture quality is also acceptable. It is a complete proposition considering its price. I don't know if there is a better option in terms of price-performance ratio in this category. It has everything and it's worth it. Having both the Xiaomi projector and the television, I can confidently say that the combination of the two leaves me completely satisfied. I have a home cinema and a terrace with very good quality and relatively low cost (total of 850-900€ for the television and projector). If someone had told me 3-4 years ago that with this amount of money I would have this combination, I would have simply laughed
