RTFM guys! The device works perfectly fine as long as you dedicate 5-6 minutes to read the manual and/or watch the installation video. For a week now, I haven't experienced any disconnections at all, and the extender gave me the boost I needed to provide signal to difficult areas of the house. I used the manual setup method to configure it, following the very easy-to-follow instructions. It immediately found the router, synchronized perfectly, and since then I haven't had to deal with it again!

Εδώ και μια βδομάδα δεν έχω καμία απολύτως αποσύνδεση και το extender μου έδωσε το boost που χρειαζόταν για να δώσω σήμα σε δύσκολα σημεία του σπιτιού. Χρησιμοποίησα τον manual τρόπο ρύθμισης για να το σεταρω, σύμφωνα με τις πανευκολες οδηγίες χρήσης. Μου βρήκε αμέσως το ρούτερ, συγχρονισε τέλεια και από τότε δεν έχω ξανασχοληθει!..

But its good stops there! Constant disconnections with the modem and when it does work, it doesn't allow devices to connect. Incredibly unreliable. Imagine, as I am writing this - I have disconnected 3 times in one hour!
The device also slows down the network speed - and yes, dlink has had these problems with 3 different modems.
Everything has been tried. Neither the firmware update helped, nor DHCP Binding, nor limiting bandwidth. It's better to spend your money on tp-link, which I recently bought at the same price and had no issues!

Αλλά τα καλά του σταματάν εκεί! Διαρκώς αποσυνδέσεις με το modem και όταν λειτουργεί, δεν αφήνει σε συσκευές να συνδεθούν. Τρομερά αναξιόπιστο. Να φανταστείτε, τώρα που το γράφω - αποσυνδέθηκα για 3 φορά μέσα σε μία ώρα!
Η συσκευή επίσης, ρίχνει την ταχύτητα του δικτύου - και ναι, το dlink έχει παρουσιάσει αυτά τα προβλήματα με 3α διαφορετικά modem.
Έχουν δοκιμαστεί τα πάντα. Ούτε το firmware update βοήθησε, ούτε DHCP Binding , ούτε limit σε bandwith. Καλύτερα δώστε τα λεφτά σας σε tp-link που πρόσφατα αγόρα σε ίδια τιμή και ξεμπέρδεψα!

I had it unused in the drawer for 1 year because I was using a Chinese OEM as a repeater, bought from China, which was doing its job very well. When I tried to set it up wirelessly with a laptop - because it doesn't have an ethernet port - I struggled for many hours. Sometimes the laptop couldn't find the link provided by the manual (http://dlinkap.local./), sometimes it got stuck on the other link (192.168.1.50), generally it was a terrible situation and many hours wasted. At some point, I managed to set it up and to my surprise, I discovered that even though I had checked the option to have the same SSID as my TP LINK router, it was using its own SSID, which ended in -EXT. Over and over again, the same issues. So, whenever I went to another room, I had to manually change the network to connect to the one with the potato's SSID. I went back to the Chinese one, my money wasted. NEVER AGAIN D-LINK, TP-LINK, AND ALL THOSE ENDING IN -LINK.

Πότε δεν έβρισκε το λαπτοπ το λινκ που δίνει το μάνουαλ (http://dlinkap.local./), πότε κολλούσε στο άλλο λινκ (192.168.1.50), γενικά άθλια κατάσταση και πολλές ώρες χαμένες. Κάποια στιγμή το σετάρισα και έκπληκτος ανακάλυψα ότι ενώ είχα τσεκάρει την επιλογή να έχει το ίδιο SSID με το TP LINK ρούτερ μου, αυτό έβαζε το δικό του SSID, που τελείωνε σε -ΕΧΤ. Ξανά και ξανά τα ίδια. Έπρεπε λοιπόν όταν πήγαινα σε άλλο δωμάτιο, να αλλάζω χειροκίνητα το δίκτυο για να πιάνω αυτό με το SSID της πατάτας.
Ξαναγύρισα στη κινεζιά, χαμένα τα λεφτά μου .

It does not work manually IN ANY WAY!!!!!, neither with the application, nor with the browser!!!!!!! The instruction booklet gave me the impression that the Asian manufacturers are fooling us.
Μετά από μερικές μέρες παίδεμα κατάφερα να συνδεθώ ΜΟΝΟ ΜΕ ΤΟ WPS ΚΟΥΜΠΙ του router ακολουθώντας το wizard στο browser. Δεν λειτουργεί χειροκίνητα ΜΕ ΚΑΝΕΝΑΝ ΤΡΟΠΟ!!!!!, ούτε με την εφαρμογή, ούτε και με τον browser!!!!!!! Tο βιβλιαράκι με τις οδηγίες μου έδινε την εντύπωση ότι μας κοροϊδεύουν οι ασιάτες κατασκευαστές.

It doesn't sync with anything, not even with the ZTE ZHEN H367N provided by HOL.
I tried everything. Both automatic and manual settings. The problem is ONLY with my router's connection.
Sometimes, it would connect to my router (H367N). After 10 attempts!
As soon as it asked me to "reboot" to apply the changes, it would reconnect... but it no longer recognized the router.
I really wasted 6 hours of my life.
I changed providers and also with the new router, it still doesn't work.
Not only manually, but even in automatic search (with WPS) as suggested by a friend in another review.
Θα ξαναγράψω την κριτική του φίλου... (2-3 αναρτήσεις πριν από αυτή αλλά με άλλα λόγια) γιατί έφαγα 6 ώρες και δεν έβγαλα άκρη.
Δεν συγχρονίζει με τίποτα, με το ΖΤΕ ΖΧΗΝ Η367Ν που δίνει η HOL.
Δοκίμασα τα πάντα. Και αυτόματες ρυθμίσεις αλλά και χειροκίνητα. Το πρόβλημα το εντοπίζω ΜΟΝΟ στη λήψη του ρούτερ μου.
Κάποιες φορές, έκανε λήψη του ρούτερ μου (H367Ν). Μετά από 10 προσπάθειες!
Μόλις μου ζητούσε να κάνει "reboot" για να πάρει τις αλλαγές. και επανερχόταν... το ρούτερ πλέον δεν το λάμβανε.
Πραγματικά έχασα 6 ώρες από τη ζωή μου.
Άλλαξα πάροχο και επίσης με το νέο ρούτερ, πάλι δεν δουλεύει.
Όχι μόνο χειροκίνητα, αλλά ούτε στην αυτόματη αναζήτηση (με WPS) όπως προτείνει ένας φίλος σε άλλη κριτική.

Economical indeed, but it functions under certain conditions. It does not synchronize with the ZTE ZXHN H108N provided by HOL. It does not synchronize with TP-LINK TD-W8961ND either. The telephone support suggests that you should set a fixed channel and disable multimedia services... but still nothing. Definitely unsuitable for inexperienced users in router settings. Additionally, it is not suitable when the router is far away - it does not catch a signal when other repeaters do. A lot of wasted time, wasted money. Ended up in the drawer.
Οικονομικό μεν, λειτουργεί υπό προϋποθέσεις δε. Δεν συγχρονίζει με ΖΤΕ ΖΧΗΝ Η108Ν που δίνει η HOL. Δεν συγχρονίζει με TP-LINK TD-W8961ND. H τηλεφωνική υποστήριξη αναφέρει ότι πρέπει να βάλεις σταθερό κανάλι και να απενεργοποιήσεις multimedia υπηρεσίες...και πάλι όμως τίποτα. Σίγουρα ακατάλληλο για χρήστες μη έμπειρους στις ρυθμίσεις των routers. Επίσης, δεν είναι κατάλληλο όταν το router είναι μακρυά - δεν πιάνει σήμα όταν άλλα repeaters πιάνουν. Πολύς χαμένος χρόνος, χαμένα χρήματα. Κατέληξε στο συρτάρι.

Δεύτερη μέρα με το D-link στο σπίτι και εκεί που είχα 1 ή 2 γραμμές τώρα έχω σταθερά 5. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!! Η εγκατάσταση πάρα πολύ εύκολη (αν εξαιρέσεις τα δικά μου προσωπικά λάθη), θα γινόταν σε 5 με 10 λεπτά. It does not synchronize as promised simply by pressing the wps buttons, but with the application it says from the playstore it does the job properly and with a good signal.
Δεν συνχρονιζει όπως υπόσχεται απλά πατώντας τα κουμπιά wps αλλά με την εφαρμογή που λέει από το playstore την κάνει την δουλειά κανονικά κ με καλό σήμα.

Δεν λειτουργεί χειροκίνητα ΜΕ ΚΑΝΕΝΑΝ ΤΡΟΠΟ!!!!!, ούτε με την εφαρμογή, ούτε και με τον browser!!!!!!! Tο βιβλιαράκι με τις οδηγίες μου έδινε την εντύπωση ότι μας κοροϊδεύουν οι ασιάτες κατασκευαστές.
I will rewrite my friend's review... (2-3 posts before this one but with different words) because I spent 6 hours and got nowhere.
It doesn't sync with anything, not even with the ZTE ZHEN H367N provided by HOL.
I tried everything. Both automatic and manual settings. The problem is ONLY with my router's connection.
Sometimes, it would connect to my router (H367N). After 10 attempts!
As soon as it asked me to "reboot" to apply the changes, it would reconnect... but it no longer recognized the router.
I really wasted 6 hours of my life.
I changed providers and also with the new router, it still doesn't work.
Not only manually, but even in automatic search (with WPS) as suggested by a friend in another review.
Θα ξαναγράψω την κριτική του φίλου... (2-3 αναρτήσεις πριν από αυτή αλλά με άλλα λόγια) γιατί έφαγα 6 ώρες και δεν έβγαλα άκρη.
Δεν συγχρονίζει με τίποτα, με το ΖΤΕ ΖΧΗΝ Η367Ν που δίνει η HOL.
Δοκίμασα τα πάντα. Και αυτόματες ρυθμίσεις αλλά και χειροκίνητα. Το πρόβλημα το εντοπίζω ΜΟΝΟ στη λήψη του ρούτερ μου.
Κάποιες φορές, έκανε λήψη του ρούτερ μου (H367Ν). Μετά από 10 προσπάθειες!
Μόλις μου ζητούσε να κάνει "reboot" για να πάρει τις αλλαγές. και επανερχόταν... το ρούτερ πλέον δεν το λάμβανε.
Πραγματικά έχασα 6 ώρες από τη ζωή μου.
Άλλαξα πάροχο και επίσης με το νέο ρούτερ, πάλι δεν δουλεύει.
Όχι μόνο χειροκίνητα, αλλά ούτε στην αυτόματη αναζήτηση (με WPS) όπως προτείνει ένας φίλος σε άλλη κριτική.
Easy to install and most importantly, it has achieved its goal of extending the signal of the main router!! Completely satisfied.
Ευκολο στη εγκατασταση του και το κυριοτερο εχει πετυχει το στοχο του που ηταν να επεκτεινει το σημα του κυριως ρουτερ!! Απολυτα ευχαριστημενος.
Economical indeed, but it functions under certain conditions. It does not synchronize with the ZTE ZXHN H108N provided by HOL. It does not synchronize with TP-LINK TD-W8961ND either. The telephone support suggests that you should set a fixed channel and disable multimedia services... but still nothing. Definitely unsuitable for inexperienced users in router settings. Οικονομικό μεν, λειτουργεί υπό προϋποθέσεις δε. Δεν συγχρονίζει με ΖΤΕ ΖΧΗΝ Η108Ν που δίνει η HOL. Δεν συγχρονίζει με TP-LINK TD-W8961ND. H τηλεφωνική υποστήριξη αναφέρει ότι πρέπει να βάλεις σταθερό κανάλι και να απενεργοποιήσεις multimedia υπηρεσίες...και πάλι όμως τίποτα. Σίγουρα ακατάλληλο για χρήστες μη έμπειρους στις ρυθμίσεις των routers. Επίσης, δεν είναι κατάλληλο όταν το router είναι μακρυά - δεν πιάνει σήμα όταν άλλα repeaters πιάνουν. Πολύς χαμένος χρόνος, χαμένα χρήματα. Κατέληξε στο συρτάρι.

Δεύτερη μέρα με το D-link στο σπίτι και εκεί που είχα 1 ή 2 γραμμές τώρα έχω σταθερά 5. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!! Η εγκατάσταση πάρα πολύ εύκολη (αν εξαιρέσεις τα δικά μου προσωπικά λάθη), θα γινόταν σε 5 με 10 λεπτά. It does not synchronize as promised simply by pressing the wps buttons, but with the application it says from the playstore it does the job properly and with a good signal.
Δεν συνχρονιζει όπως υπόσχεται απλά πατώντας τα κουμπιά wps αλλά με την εφαρμογή που λέει από το playstore την κάνει την δουλειά κανονικά κ με καλό σήμα.

RTFM guys! The device works perfectly fine as long as you dedicate 5-6 minutes to read the manual and/or watch the installation video. For a week now, I haven't experienced any disconnections at all, and the extender gave me the boost I needed to provide signal to difficult areas of the house. I used the manual setup method to configure it, following the very easy-to-follow instructions. It immediately found the router, synchronized perfectly, and since then I haven't had to deal with it again!
RTFM παίδες! Η συσκευή παίζει μια χαρά αρκεί να αφιερώσετε 5-6 λεπτά για να διαβάσετε το εγχειρίδιο ή/και να δείτε το βιντεάκι της εγκατάστασης. Εδώ και μια βδομάδα δεν έχω καμία απολύτως αποσύνδεση και το extender μου έδωσε το boost που χρειαζόταν για να δώσω σήμα σε δύσκολα σημεία του σπιτιού. Χρησιμοποίησα τον manual τρόπο ρύθμισης για να το σεταρω, σύμφωνα με τις πανευκολες οδηγίες χρήσης. Μου βρήκε αμέσως το ρούτερ, συγχρονισε τέλεια και από τότε δεν έχω ξανασχοληθει!..
It is very easy to set up. Extremely easy.
But its good stops there! Constant disconnections with the modem and when it does work, it doesn't allow devices to connect. Incredibly unreliable. Imagine, as I am writing this - I have disconnected 3 times in one hour!
The device also slows down the network speed - and yes, dlink has had these problems with 3 different modems.
Everything has been tried. Neither the firmware update helped, nor DHCP Binding, nor limiting bandwidth. It's better to spend your money on tp-link, which I recently bought at the same price and had no issues!

Ειναι πανεύκολο να το σετάρεις. Υπερβολικά εύκολο.
Αλλά τα καλά του σταματάν εκεί! Διαρκώς αποσυνδέσεις με το modem και όταν λειτουργεί, δεν αφήνει σε συσκευές να συνδεθούν. Τρομερά αναξιόπιστο. Να φανταστείτε, τώρα που το γράφω - αποσυνδέθηκα για 3 φορά μέσα σε μία ώρα!
Η συσκευή επίσης, ρίχνει την ταχύτητα του δικτύου - και ναι, το dlink έχει παρουσιάσει αυτά τα προβλήματα με 3α διαφορετικά modem.
Έχουν δοκιμαστεί τα πάντα. Ούτε το firmware update βοήθησε, ούτε DHCP Binding , ούτε limit σε bandwith. Καλύτερα δώστε τα λεφτά σας σε tp-link που πρόσφατα αγόρα σε ίδια τιμή και ξεμπέρδεψα!

το ειχα ενα χρονο στο συρταρη γιατι δεν μπορουσα να το συγχρονισω με το ρουτερ οταν αλαξα το ρουτερ μια χαρα και καλη αποδοση το εχω σε πετρινο σπιτη

I had it unused in the drawer for 1 year because I was using a Chinese OEM as a repeater, bought from China, which was doing its job very well. When I tried to set it up wirelessly with a laptop - because it doesn't have an ethernet port - I struggled for many hours. Sometimes the laptop couldn't find the link provided by the manual (http://dlinkap.local./), sometimes it got stuck on the other link (192.168.1.50), generally it was a terrible situation and many hours wasted. At some point, I managed to set it up and to my surprise, I discovered that even though I had checked the option to have the same SSID as my TP LINK router, it was using its own SSID, which ended in -EXT. Over and over again, the same issues. So, whenever I went to another room, I had to manually change the network to connect to the one with the potato's SSID. I went back to the Chinese one, my money wasted. NEVER AGAIN D-LINK, TP-LINK, AND ALL THOSE ENDING IN -LINK.
Το είχα στο συρτάρι αχρησιμοποίητο για 1 χρόνο, γιατί χρησιμοποιούσα σαν repeater μια ΟΕΜ κινεζιά, αγορασμένη από Κίνα, που όμως έκανε πολύ καλά τη δουλειά της. Όταν προσπάθησα να το σετάρω με λαπτόπ ασύρματα, -γιατί δεν έχει θύρα ethernet-, παιδεύτηκα πολλές ώρες. Πότε δεν έβρισκε το λαπτοπ το λινκ που δίνει το μάνουαλ (http://dlinkap.local./), πότε κολλούσε στο άλλο λινκ (192.168.1.50), γενικά άθλια κατάσταση και πολλές ώρες χαμένες. Κάποια στιγμή το σετάρισα και έκπληκτος ανακάλυψα ότι ενώ είχα τσεκάρει την επιλογή να έχει το ίδιο SSID με το TP LINK ρούτερ μου, αυτό έβαζε το δικό του SSID, που τελείωνε σε -ΕΧΤ. Ξανά και ξανά τα ίδια. Έπρεπε λοιπόν όταν πήγαινα σε άλλο δωμάτιο, να αλλάζω χειροκίνητα το δίκτυο για να πιάνω αυτό με το SSID της πατάτας.
Ξαναγύρισα στη κινεζιά, χαμένα τα λεφτά μου .
