For me, this game is a phenomenon, like rs was for the ps1, gta and gow for ps2, demon souls for ps3, witcher for ps4, and other similar games, and I believe it will leave its mark on rogue likes.

4 stars and not 5 because the levels are few and the duration is short even when the game's mechanism is to repeat them for upgrades to your character and weapons. There could be more variation in each run as the path to the exit remains the same, with the same levels in the same order and the same enemies. The way you deal with them varies.

I recently bought the game because of the very good reviews I read. I have played for 5-6 hours so far and my first impression is wonderful. It runs smoothly and without any problems on the ps5. As a game, it is quite entertaining, addictive, and with a great soundtrack. To my surprise, inside the package, there is a 30-page artbook and a code to download the original soundtrack. It is a game with one purpose: to escape from Hades. To do this, you must fight enemies and bosses as you traverse the areas of the Greek underworld. The idea is simple and clear. However, the gameplay is so well-crafted and solid that you never get bored for a moment. It is a quite demanding game that does not give any handouts. You need to have your mind 100% dedicated to overcome it.
The game does everything perfectly. Gameplay, voice acting, difficulty, atmosphere, art direction, storytelling. Everything. And I am not exaggerating at all. Specifically, the work put into the game's dialogues is unprecedented. I don't think I have ever seen anything similar before. The dialogues change depending on the gods you have by your side. No matter how many times you die, you will not hear the same dialogue line. This applies to both the inhabitants of Hades and the gods. We are talking about hundreds of dialogue lines and combinations. I started it with absolutely no expectations, and in the end, it turned out to be one of the best indie games I have ever played. Finally, I want to emphasize the music, which is a masterpiece and fits perfectly with the rest of the game. The composer is Darren Korb, who happens to be the voice actor of the protagonist.
For its price, you should buy it without a second thought. It is a video game in every sense of the word.

Για να το κάνεις αυτό πρέπει να πολεμήσεις εχθρούς και bosses καθώς διασχίζεις τις περιοχές του κάτω κόσμου της ελληνικής μυθολογίας. Ως ιδέα είναι απλή και ξεκάθαρη. Το gameplay όμως είναι τόσο μα τόσο καλοφτιαγμένο και στιβαρό που δεν το βαριέσαι ούτε λεπτό. Πρόκειται για ένα αρκετά απαιτητικό παιχνίδι που δεν χαρίζει κάστανα. Πρέπει να έχεις το μυαλό σου 100% αφοσιωμένο για να τα βγάλεις πέρα.
Το παιχνίδι ό,τι κάνει το κάνει τέλεια. Gameplay, voice acting, δυσκολία, ατμόσφαιρα, art direction, storytelling. Όλα. Και δεν υπερβάλλω καθόλου. Οι διάλογοι αλλάζουν ανάλογα με τους θεούς που έχεις στο πλευρό σου. Όσες φορές και να πεθάνεις δεν πρόκειται να ακούσεις την ίδια γραμμή διαλόγου. Τόσο με τους κατοίκους του Άδη όσο και με τους θεούς. Μιλάμε για εκατοντάδες σειρές διαλόγων και συνδυασμών. Το ξεκίνησα με απολύτως καμία προσδοκία και εν τέλει κατέληξε να είναι απο τα καλύτερα indie παιχνίδια που έχω παίξει. Τέλος, θέλω να σταθώ στη μουσική η οποία είναι αριστουργηματική και ταιριάζει τέλεια στο υπόλοιπο σύνολο. Συνθέτης είναι ο Darren Korb ο οποίος τυχαίνει να είναι και ο voice actor του πρωταγωνιστή.
Για τα λεφτά του το έχετε αγοράσει χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη. Πρόκειται για βιντεοπαιχνίδι με όλη την έννοια της λέξης.

I achieved Platinum in Returnal and I didn't believe that I would ever play something similar and at such a difficult level. It is a rogue-like game in which you will die many times, but the more you die, the more you will want to play again. With each run, you definitely gain experience and you do better the next time, plus you collect materials that make you stronger (permanent buffs) for the next tries. I finished it and I continue to enjoy it because it has many things to do still.

Διαφοροποιείται ο τρόπος που τους αντιμετωπίζεις.

I recently bought the game because of the very good reviews I read. I have played for 5-6 hours so far and my first impression is wonderful. It runs smoothly and without any problems on the ps5. As a game, it is quite entertaining, addictive, and with a great soundtrack. To my surprise, inside the package, there is a 30-page artbook and a code to download the original soundtrack. Αγόρασα πρόσφατα το παιχνίδι λόγο των πολύ καλών reviews που διαβάζω. Έχω παίξει 5-6 ώρες μέχρι στιγμής και η πρώτη επαφή που έχω είναι υπέροχη. Στο ps5 τρέχει άνετα και χωρίς προβλήματα μέχρι στιγμής. Σαν παιχνίδι είναι αρκετά διασκεδαστικό, εθιστικό και με πολλή καλή μουσική υπόκρουση. Με μεγάλη έκπληξη διαπίστωσα ότι μέσα στην συσκευασία, υπάρχει ένα artbook 30 σελίδων και κωδικός για να κατεβάσετε το original soundtrack. It is a game with one purpose: to escape from Hades. To do this, you must fight enemies and bosses as you traverse the areas of the Greek underworld. The idea is simple and clear. However, the gameplay is so well-crafted and solid that you never get bored for a moment. It is a quite demanding game that does not give any handouts. You need to have your mind 100% dedicated to overcome it.
The game does everything perfectly. Gameplay, voice acting, difficulty, atmosphere, art direction, storytelling. Everything. And I am not exaggerating at all. Specifically, the work put into the game's dialogues is unprecedented. I don't think I have ever seen anything similar before. The dialogues change depending on the gods you have by your side. No matter how many times you die, you will not hear the same dialogue line. This applies to both the inhabitants of Hades and the gods. We are talking about hundreds of dialogue lines and combinations. I started it with absolutely no expectations, and in the end, it turned out to be one of the best indie games I have ever played. Finally, I want to emphasize the music, which is a masterpiece and fits perfectly with the rest of the game. The composer is Darren Korb, who happens to be the voice actor of the protagonist.
For its price, you should buy it without a second thought. It is a video game in every sense of the word.

Πρόκειται για ένα παιχνίδι που ο σκοπός του είναι ένας: να βγεις απο τον Άδη. Για να το κάνεις αυτό πρέπει να πολεμήσεις εχθρούς και bosses καθώς διασχίζεις τις περιοχές του κάτω κόσμου της ελληνικής μυθολογίας. Ως ιδέα είναι απλή και ξεκάθαρη. Το gameplay όμως είναι τόσο μα τόσο καλοφτιαγμένο και στιβαρό που δεν το βαριέσαι ούτε λεπτό. Πρόκειται για ένα αρκετά απαιτητικό παιχνίδι που δεν χαρίζει κάστανα. Πρέπει να έχεις το μυαλό σου 100% αφοσιωμένο για να τα βγάλεις πέρα.
Το παιχνίδι ό,τι κάνει το κάνει τέλεια. Gameplay, voice acting, δυσκολία, ατμόσφαιρα, art direction, storytelling. Όλα. Και δεν υπερβάλλω καθόλου. Συγκεκριμένα, η δουλειά που έχει πέσει στους διαλόγους του παιχνιδιού είναι άνευ προηγουμένου. Δεν νομίζω οτι έχω ξαναδεί κάτι παρόμοιο ποτέ. Οι διάλογοι αλλάζουν ανάλογα με τους θεούς που έχεις στο πλευρό σου. Όσες φορές και να πεθάνεις δεν πρόκειται να ακούσεις την ίδια γραμμή διαλόγου. Τόσο με τους κατοίκους του Άδη όσο και με τους θεούς. Μιλάμε για εκατοντάδες σειρές διαλόγων και συνδυασμών. Το ξεκίνησα με απολύτως καμία προσδοκία και εν τέλει κατέληξε να είναι απο τα καλύτερα indie παιχνίδια που έχω παίξει. Τέλος, θέλω να σταθώ στη μουσική η οποία είναι αριστουργηματική και ταιριάζει τέλεια στο υπόλοιπο σύνολο. Συνθέτης είναι ο Darren Korb ο οποίος τυχαίνει να είναι και ο voice actor του πρωταγωνιστή.
Για τα λεφτά του το έχετε αγοράσει χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη. Πρόκειται για βιντεοπαιχνίδι με όλη την έννοια της λέξης.

25€ για τουλάχιστον 40 ώρες ποιοτικότατου παιχνιδιού. Η Supergiant ξεπερνάει για άλλη μια φορά τον εαυτό της. ΤΟ ΠΑΙΧΝΙΔΙ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΓΙΑ ΟΛΟΥΣ. Προσέξτε με: "ΓΙΑ ΟΛΟΥΣ". Γι' αυτούς που παίζουν και γι' αυτούς που δεν παίζουν roguelike. Εκ πρώτης άποψης είναι απαιτητικό, έχει όμως μια εξαιρετική καμπύλη εκμάθησης και ένα προαιρετικό πανέξυπνο easy mode όπου στο κάνει ευκολότερο αργά αργά, χωρίς να το πολυκαταλάβεις. Και παραμένει εθιστικό από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος. Τυφλή αγορά, μην το φοβάστε.

I achieved Platinum in Returnal and I didn't believe that I would ever play something similar and at such a difficult level. It is a rogue-like game in which you will die many times, but the more you die, the more you will want to play again. With each run, you definitely gain experience and you do better the next time, plus you collect materials that make you stronger (permanent buffs) for the next tries. I finished it and I continue to enjoy it because it has many things to do still.

Έκανα Platinum το Returnal και δεν πίστευα ότι θα έπαιζα ξανά κάτι παρόμοιο και σε τέτοιο hard βαθμό δυσκολίας.
Είναι ένα rogue-like game στο οποίο θα πεθάνεις πολλές φορές αλλά όσο ψοφάς άλλο τόσο θα θέλεις να ξαναπαίξεις.
Με καθε run αποκτάς σίγουρα εμπειρία και τα πηγαίνεις καλύτερα την επόμενη φορά + ότι μαζεύεις materials τα οποία σε κάνουν πιο δυνατό (permanent buffs) για τα επόμενα tries.
Το τερμάτισα και συνεχίζω να το απολαμβάνω γιατί έχει πολλά πράγματα να κάνεις ακομα
A game that represents the Rogue-Like category. ATTENTION, this category is not for everyone and I emphasize that.
The gameplay is fantastic and has replayability that is not boring at all. Every run is different and it is extremely addictive.
The scenario is nice, as is the narration, the characters, and especially the dialogues. Amazing work on the voices.
The art direction is jaw-dropping, honestly, it's been years since I've seen such beautiful art direction.
The sound is on another level, as is the soundtrack.
Supergiant at its best. Bring us Hades 2 so we can play it to death. 10/10 in everything for the game.

Just the only thing that bothered me was that I expected more weapons. If they released a DLC with more weapons or an extra story, it would be perfect.

Το παιχνίδι είναι άψογο λατρεύω τέτοιου είδους παιχνίδια.
Απλά το μόνο που με χάλασε περίμενα περισσότερα όπλα αν βγάζανε κάνα dlc με περισσότερα όπλα ή μια extra ιστορία θα ήταν τέλειο.

-Gameplay ότι καλύτερο σε καθηλώνει και σε αναγκάζει να συγκεντρωθείς χωρίς να σε κουράζει γιατί όταν συνηθίσει το μάτι καταλαβαίνεις τι κάνεις και όλο το fight και effects είναι άπειρα smooth δεν μπερδεύει καθόλου.
