This book is intended for the students of the 5th grade of elementary school, their teachers, and their parents or guardians.
It is written in correspondence with the sequence of chapters in the school textbook.
It contains:
- Activities for the introduction of new concepts.
- Theory written in an understandable way, so that the student can manage each concept and develop each skill at a higher level.
- Applications that cover all categories of the chapter.
- Exercises for solving, divided into two groups A and B for better understanding and deepening of mathematical concepts.
- Review chapters, where students have the opportunity to organize the material from previous chapters.
- Evaluation criteria, with which students can check how well they meet the requirements of the lesson and gain confidence.
- Competition topics organized by the Hellenic Mathematical Society, such as "Pythagoras" and "Little Euclid", as well as the international Mathematical competition "Kangaroo".
- Topics for admission to Model and Experimental schools.
