Selective post-emergence herbicide for the control of grassy and broadleaf weeds in winter wheat (hard and soft), barley, and triticale.

Pacifica Plus is a systemic, selective herbicide belonging to the sulfonylurea group.

It acts by inhibiting the ALS enzyme, a component of the oxo-acid synthase, thus stopping the biosynthesis of amino acids necessary for their development (leucine, isoleucine, valine) in weeds, causing them to become chlorotic and eventually die.

It is mainly absorbed by the leaves and to a very small extent by the roots, and then transported both by the anionic and cationic sap. The main site of action is the meristematic tissues of the weeds. A few days after spraying, the growth of the targeted weeds has already stopped and the first symptoms begin to appear. Complete necrosis occurs within a period of 4-6 weeks.
