It is much nicer than it looks in the photo on the website, meaning for those who are concerned, it is not as high as it appears. It is slightly above the ankle. The quality is evident as soon as you take them out of the box. The sole is very good and the heel is not particularly high. It takes a little getting used to when walking if you haven't worn this type of shoe for a long time. I would say it would be good to wear a relatively thick sock, not a high one, because it is really high-quality and the leather, especially on the heel, can rub a little until your foot gets used to it. Be careful, it is not a Martin's-style boot. It has very hard leather and is made with great quality
