In an Opel Meriva 1.3 diesel, whenever code 55 for the DPF comes on and I have a little less than half a tank of fuel, I add Flamingo Cetane Number Booster Additive for Cars 250ml, half a bottle, and after a drive on the highway for about 15 minutes max, the DPF code turns off. Since I put it in a full tank in the pickup, I have had a loss of power. There are two issues: either it cleaned the dirt and sent it to the filter or the additive is a failure. I haven't changed the filter yet and the loss of power continues even though I have refueled two more times.

I don't know if it works or not. I have the impression that there was a very slight improvement in consumption, but it might just be purely psychological. The reason I bought it is because taxi drivers recommended it to me, who used it in their taxis without second thoughts, and of course the price. My main thought was that at least it doesn't do any harm. I would easily buy it again at this price.
