Not worth it, too expensive. A company can't be number one in everything. The utility knife is very sturdy, opens and closes easily, and the guide as well, but once you start working, the job involves dust and then the problems begin. It tightens too much, its blades are like the ones you find in stores and break easily, it's expensive to buy, mine opened up and all its parts fell apart. I put everything back together, oiled it, and it works fine again, but I wouldn't buy it again. If you don't know how to change the blade, it's a headache. Generally, it's a difficult tool to use, I've put it aside. If you just want to look at it, it's top-notch.

I bought it for what it claimed to offer. It is made of metal to prevent it from breaking, but it actually broke on the upper right edge. As for the metal guide it has for cutting, when I pressed the blade, the guide bent and the blade couldn't fit into its position. The plastic parts inside broke after just one day of general electrical use! Visually, it looks nice as if nothing happened, but functionally, it is a failure. I now have a broken, useless tool that cost me 25€.

Very good build quality. The construction material is most likely aluminum. Thanks to Knipex's patent, the blade is difficult to break. Also, when you open the blade, it automatically locks in the position you want and there is no need to tighten any screws or press any buttons compared to other brands' folding knives. Finally, another positive aspect is that it comes with spare blades.

I have to admit, I bought it because of the name. When you see Knipex, you think it will be good. But I wasn't disappointed, it is top quality, the clever blade support system helps a lot and makes it the most stable blade I have worked with. And the blade is not just a regular one you find in the market.
